Maybe I'm giving this show too much credit, but I have a feeling this is going to be "Not Me" or "1000 Stars" standards. Those show changed the game for the BL industry and what we should expect from storytelling in GMMTV. I think Ticket to Heaven has the protentional to be one of those gems. I hope it is at least. I am so excited for Gemini and Forth. They continue to get better and better in every project they're in. I would rather them take their time with this story, which will hopefully give them the time to create magic.
I kept thinking through the whole show that he looked so familiar and it was killing me. I thought maybe he I had seen him in something else or maybe he was in the band. But you've hit the nail on the head, he looks so similar to Win.
After seeing Jimmy in Bad Buddy, I was so excited to see him in this trailer. From what we’ve seen already, he’s super talented and I just can’t wait to see him play this role.
I have such mixed feelings about the cast. I can't help the feeling of disappointment, but I am also excited to see what the new actors do with the characters. The people who picked these men must have done a careful job. They have a lot riding on this new cast to carry the show and as fans, they know we're expecting a lot. I hope they have awesome chemistry and even though they are redoing the first season, maybe they can see what didn't work the first time and make it even better. I hope a lot of hope and worry, but all I can do now is wait...THE AGONY! Question, what actually happened with God? I heard his management didn't want him playing gay characters? What is that all about? What's the tea?
I know this post is old, but I wanted to comment. You are the only review of this show that I agree with. I looked through all the other reviews and they don't touch on the fact that there was a lot of sexual harassment. I too felt super uncomfortable with the "love" scenes. 90% of their romantic interactions were forced (like you said, not like that actors looked forced, but their character). And it is concerning how many people find those scenes to be ok. Like that is something that should happen in a healthy relationship. CONSENT IS SO SEXY! And this show didn't have any of that. It's so disappointing too because this series had a lot of potential and the actors had great chemistry together. Thank you for telling a truthful review.
