At the end Tae-Yeon let her sister (Se Hee) free from the chain her ex boyfriend Jung Bum (One of the killers) put on her because she wasn't to blame for her death. Se Hee then has flash backs back to when she was being taught to swim by Tae-Yeon as her final breathes when your life flashes before you. Jung Bum not being able to live with Tae-Yeon's death let himself drown in the water and then him and Tae-Yeon swim off into the distance to be together.
