Positive for Women roles
For the past 3 days I have been watching this drama. I didn't watch Part 1&2. I really like this Drama. There are five different women, with different mannerisms. I would like to state; if you want a storyline which features a ML as a demeaning, get in the woman's face, jerk her around and treat her badly through out the Drama and ends up with her at the end, this storyline is not for you. These five women go through ups and downs. There are funny moments and sad moments. They get o each others nerves from time to time and there are idealism clashes as they try to make it. It doesn't address sexism and sex harassment very well. Chinses Romantic/Drama storylines need to do more in promoting positive images of female leads. I like that the woman don't allow anyone get over on them. If someone gets in their face they fight back.There isn't any chemistry between Ye Zhen Zhen and Huang Dai Wei as far a lovers. As friends they are good together. I have a feeling that in Part 4 the Producers will manufacture a love interest between the two. Fang Zhi Heng is the strongest of all the women. If you watch the Drama, you'll see what I mean. The interaction between Yu Chu Hui and [Yu Chu Hui's mother] was powerful. My heart ached for both of them. Every one of those women had their trials and tribulations to go through.
I just finished the total Part 3 and I am looking forward in watching Part 4. Producers went into depth of each one of the woman. There was a reason and it worked. I could go on and on about this Series. You'll just have to watch it and see why I liked it.
I recommend people watch this Series.

Typical Chinese romance drama
I had hope that this would not be a typical drama, but so far it is. Meng Hao Tian is supposed to be a smart, energeticstrong welledperson; yet she meets Leng Si Ming and becomes this mumbling idiot.You mean the man you don't know who he is or what he does, he grabs you by the risk because you're wet and he takes you up to his room! Give me a break! She doesn't protest she doesn't do anything she just goes with him? This only happens in Chinese dramas. No woman in her right mind would go with somebody she don't even know about I guess in Chinese dramas there's nothing called rape where is the common sense of Chinese females in these dramas? She straight up being a slut. She doesn't know anything about Leng Si Ming, yet he gets in her face, carries her to his room ansshe says nothing.They just met and he is talking marriage. Really!? She is teasing him and he is too arrogant. I guess this is what Chinese producers call romance. In Chinese dramas I don't care how strong FL are, they always become subservant to the rich male lead. She crawls into the bed of a guy she doesn't know very well. He moves next door to her that's creepy. Plus he told her he'd marry her (they don't know each other that well). She has no self respect. She don,t mind getting caught in the bed of a man which she has no relationship with. He dominates her with no push back. This all in episodes 1-7.
The drama series is getting more interestingafter epssode 11. The subplots are better than the main plot. They tackle the situation of what would you do if you found out that your best friends spouse is cheating. What would you tell them or when would yo tell them?Now that they introduce another person in the drama, it is getting really interesting. They seem to tackle someup-to-date issues, like domestric violence and how to address the issue. They addressed it from the stand point is when the perpetrator is celebrity with great connections. I could understand when Jiang Lei Lei was dealing with the age gap and how she thought others would view it.
Like I mentioned before the last half of the series was better the front half. I was thinking of dropping the series because of the first 7 episodes. I still believ that the subplots were better than the main plot. The musical score was good and the songs came in on cue and fit the threme at the time. Deal with certain situations when it comes to the heart was tricky.
If you could get past the first 7 episodes, the drama is worth watching. I would recommend watching from Episodes 10-31.

Good Drama
Some will say that there isn't enough action or not enough excitement What I say is that, it is a Drama! It is a well rounded Drama. Some people will not like it because Female Leads are strong women and they don't just become weak minded or mumbling when males come along. This drama is about women with all their flaws and mannerisms. They marry, they divorce, they love and they hate. What the have to overcome to get where they are. The developed a sisterhood. I will say they did not do very well in addressing work place sexual harassment.A subplot about the cut throat Advertisement Industry, is an eye opening experience. It will show how linked the Industry is. The Drama shows you how Chinese society looks at age to marriage and having a child. The pressure must be immense. It also shows how Chinese society looks at divorce and the pressure of staying married, even if it's a bad marriage.
I just watched one of the most powerfullest Episodes to date. It will make your heart break and ponder why it happened. What people will do to keep their family together, is to be admired. The last 4 episodes were kind of week. They could of had explained the new GM and what happened to him.
Scenery of the countryside was great. I like the fact that the women were resolute. They knew what they wanted and was not demeaned by males. Storyline was good. There was so much chemistry among the cast, that you may thought they were neighbors.
I recommend this storyline. I will watch this again.

Great Concept storyline
Thank you Writers and Producers. For once a Drama that doesn't have a so called Bad Boy or Rich guy that demeans, yank, jerk, get the the face or grab the FL like he owns them. For once I am watching a drama that the female doesn't mumble nor is she weak minded. She does take crap from folks that do her wrong. So far so good on this series. I think the Chines Writers and Producers can learn a couple of things about using strong willed, don't allow men to boss them around female roles.I am looking forward in watching the rest of the Series. On Eps 1 and 2 I laughed so hard. They have some good twist and turns in this series. I like that they explained the way Do Bong Soon is, in the first episode. They didn't take 3 or 4 episodes to explain.
Do Bong Soon's mother is tripping. She is funny. The mother is out there! She about money straight up. The mother gives a bad name to Asian mothers. It makes it look like they are all about money. Who in the world goes to bed fully clothes?😂😂😂.
The more I watch Ahn Min Hyuk , the more I don't like him. He is a rich boy trying to use his influence to get his way. In Gook Doo is a better person. I think deep down he likes Do Bong Soon. Ep 6 looks like this K-Series is going to do the same thing C-Series do - The rich guy get the woman and the nice guy loses out. I am hoping In Gook Doo get the girl. Why can't Do Bong Soon see what Ahn Min Hyuk is up too? I know it's not in the script.
I was disappointed with the ending. Having said that, I will recommend folks watch this Series, you'll laugh and cry and get angry. PS. Can someone make a Romantic drama where the poor, good guy gets the woman. It seems the be always the rich, arrogant male wins out.

This is rediculous
Let start at Chai Xiao Qi IS AN ALIEN! She has powers and yet some how they are mute when it comes to Fang Leng. He is able to toss her around , demean her, get in her face, yank her around and other stupid stuff ad nothing happens. What is it about C Dramas where the woman has to be subvient to the man? Usually it is a rich white skinned, demeaning to women, I can do what I want and treat you the way I want arrogant Male lead. The female is usaully a poor, weak mined, you can yank me around, get in my face Female lead. Typically the Male lead will treat the female lead like dirt until about midway through the drama. He changes, say sorry and ends up get the female lead at the. Mean while the better no so rich male gets shafted.There is no chemistry bewteen Chai Xiao Qi and Fang Leng and you can see it: but because the producers says there is, there is.
I have never dropped a drama until now. I had so much hope for this storyline because of the title. There'er a few spots in it which are funny. To put it straight, Fang Leng is an arrogant asshole, who demeans women. Chai Xiao Qi is potrayed as a mumbling, get in my face Alien, with powers.
Producers are aiming for people who don't know better audience, mainly people between years 15-25. This Romance/Comedy drama could of be a gut buster, instead Producers made it ridiculous.
Neeless to say I can not recommend this drama nor will I watch it again.
