You shouldn't have stopped at episode 4 if you wanted to see a strong female lead. Yeowool had one of the strongest character development's I've ever seen in a drama. She really comes a good way from the start of the drama!
I found her actions at the beginning to be questionable, but she didn't disappoint me once things got set into motion. I won't say any spoilers, but she is very smart for one thing. I think you should try to continue watching and you might be surprised!
The plot was nice, refreshing if you like something light to watch. I thought the main cast were really good at portraying unique, a bit eccentric characters. Everything from their unique way of chasing each other (literally) to the way they paced when talking about something they were nervous or unsure about. Overall it was enjoyable. I would recommend it for something to watch in your down time!

While I do not have a strong connection with God, you have to think of this through the lead's perspectives. When people tend to have everything taken away from them, they lose faith and blame everything on God. And while it was Yeon Soo's family who commited the acts, God didn't prevent it from happening. He even had it as her fate to be killed by evil acts. How could God expect to be loved when he allowed evil to rage on. He allowed Yeon Soo to become blind by the cousin's evil acts, allowed her father-like figure to be killed by that same evil, was poisoned by the same evil at that one party. This is clearly enough to make one question His will. Even the angels felt that He was being too harsh. Isn't it God's duty to limit the amount of evil that is on earth? If not for the archangel Hu and Kim Dan altering His plans for the better Yeon Soo would be dead and her relatives would stay in power probably committing more sins. I'm sorry to question your logic, but you saying this drama is disappointing is disappointing in itself.
