I maybe wrong that very little people watch this genre but it is still true a much lesser population watch this genre compared to xianxia/wuxia. And not every young audiences can’t appreciate this genre. I also have been watching dramas over 10 years now. I love historical dramas too but they get too draggy and it’s better to binge through the whole thing. And if we’re being honest, more than half of the people who are going to watch this show came because of Cheng Yi. The drama itself is only coming out because of his popularity. Otherwise, the drama would do undetected by a lot of people.

I think you are totally right... very little people watch this genre... it's neither xianxia or wuxia... just imperial court stuff.. but still I'm definitely watching it for Cheng Yi... the question is should I watch while its airing or wait till all the episodes are out?
