I actually don't hate Hu Sui/Su Zhi since I know beforehand from comments of what she will do (esp. since I understand her reasoning), that girl has been through so much and suffers from pstd/trauma

I have only watched a few Republican dramas because I am not a fan of that era, but the few that I have watched…
hmm pretty sure not all of them are like that since for some of the ones I watched in the past, I have watched ones that are about wealthy families and lots of fighting between a man's wives/wife and concubine that sort of stuff it's either that, what you said, spying/epsionage, or ww2
ahhh the nonvip airing will end soon which means I will be finishing this show :( I will miss this comment section and this drama <3 loved the cast and the characters they portrayed
