they didn't according to ppl below who watched both, the two shows are actually different

One of the reasons I enjoy the shifu and his wife sideplot/story (like how well they just know each other, they have that "old "couple feel) because they are a contrast to the 2 main couples (who are both young)
and I love to see a childhood friends to lovers cp once in a while in a story sometimes so ah hahaha

everyone saying that they dont like the doctor/tian lei's shifu having a love line/plot
XD meanwhile Im enjoying his shifu and his wife's interactions and scenes (which I thought were wholesome and sweet)
