She definitely needs to turn away from the path she's on right now, but I think that's what this whole drama is about, not letting herself become her enemy.

Anyway, I love Jenny and I love Hyunji too and I hope they can drown the evil witch together.

The thing Jenny absolutely needs more than anything else is to love someone who loves her back. She hasn't really had a single day of true happiness in her life since the age of 9.

I want her to destroy Mrs Evil Kim, but that's not what will make her happy. It will be an empty victory if she remains alone.

And this is not because female characters absolutely need romance, but because Jenny Jang, specifically, just... is way too lonely. She needs to be loved.

I find Jenny and Sunwoo at this point slightly unhealthy, because Sunwoo is too focused on sacrificing everything for her sake. It looks romantic, but it's a recipe for disaster.

However, that does not mean I think they are doomed. I do see how they could build a healthy relationship, and if the writer does make that happen, I will be over-the-moon happy. But both of them need to change their perspective to build something real.

(and for the record, for me the most attractive person in this drama is Kim Suna, she has so much charisma...)

I love Hyunji, I've loved her from the start.

I don't like the potential romance though.

After episode 7, it's clear that Hyunji's role is to be a reflection of who Jenny is deep inside, and what Jenny could have been in different circumstances.

I was so giddy with delight that it was Jenny who arrived to rescue Hyunji, and just talked her way out of it. So much more satisfying than the expected cliche rescue.

Also I am now actively noping out of the idea of Hyunji x Sunwoo romance. If his clinging to Jenny is unhealthy, then falling for a girl who reminds him of Jenny is even more so.

Jenny and Sunwoo character's age difference in the drama is just 6 years (38 and 32), while Hyunji and Sunwoo have 8 years gap (24 and 32).

Funny how the ep4 twist changes how the previous events look like.
Like in the very first episode, when Ye Nam said Jung Hyuk has never dated anyone, I assumed he had been having some kind of secret affair with Jenny the whole time. And then their "wedding night" left me with the impression that he loves her, but she is pushing him away, and he respects that. But now it looks the the feeling of sadness could be because it's her who has some real feelings, but he can't return them.

Since Jung Hyuk is now out of the picture (unless they twist the twist again somehow), I want Jenny to end up with Sunwoo. She has no one else :(

Last Empress, Return and Cheese in the Trap are all dramas that had drama happen on set, too, so script ended up changing mid shooting.

Yes, it really shows the strength of his character. And that LWJ believed in him despite everything, that's just really the most beautiful love story there could be.
