Uhh also, why's there no info about the second lead actor who played Hao Wen? What's his name?
Yeah, it had a Chinese feel to it initially. But then they very conspicuously featured Taipei 101 in the background and I was like, "ohhh. OK, Taiwanese."
I liked it. It was sweet. But geez, the gagaoolala english subtitles... they were awful! So hard to understand what was really being said a lot of times. And the constant misgendering was really distracting too. At first I think Kouhei was a really masculine woman because they referred to him as "she" the first time Taiichi meets Kouhei.
The series ends on a cliffhanger because China cracked down on BL shows. They even prevented the two of them from ever working together again or even being photographed together... :(
There are two books and the end of the books is a happy one.
In terms of acting, it's a toss-up for me between this one and Right Or Wrong. But what tips things into Trapped's favor is how adorable Jake Hsu was playing A-Fei. *Seaweed* haha. I had to rewatch that quick scene a few times because I kept cracking up.
That and the fact that Chris Wu is the sexiest HIStory guy ever.
Can anyone explain why some Chinese movies seem to have a Mandarin dub? I assume they dub into different dialects but record in Mandarin. But the sync always seems to be a bit off, more than just a delay.
WHOA. I was watching the music video for one of the main songs and there was a scene I hadn't seen from a chapter in the book that takes place AFTER episode 15. Are there lost episodes that had already been filmed!? Spoiler in the video...
