Sandeul knew BDE because she approached him on purpose in the much earlier episodes.
BDE returned home after she was kicked out of the Yoon family house. Sandeul did mention about BDE being Angela and was shocked to learn that she is his half-sibling. LHW then told everyone in the family that BDE approached him on purpose, which got Sandeul broken-hearted. Nothing else was mentioned on the subject matter after that.
9/10 rate!! very grateful i found this drama. truly family drama, no evil story just reality on the life. after…
I don't blame you. I watched this drama as it was airing (so imagine my stress watching it at the time haha) but not many weekenders have been able to match this drama ever since.
There was subtle emphasis on them drinking actual soju (alcoholic beverage) during the kiss scene. Kissing while being buzzed might be the soul swap mechanism?
OMG!! That HUGE revelation at the end of ep 39 made my jaw drop!! Now I've got a whole new set of questions to…
Based on my understanding of Grandma character, she would have totally taken some drastic measures to keep Taesan Group intact, to the dismay of the evil daughter-in-law. Even the chairman of TV Live is afraid of her. Grandma must be capable of doing something EXTREME.
I've watched my fair share of KBS weekend drama as well as KBS daily revenge makjang drama. This drama feels more like the latter but written from a different perspective.
If not because of So Rim's storyline, I might have dropped this drama already.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy daily revenge makjang. But at least the drama should stay true to its genre and time slot.
I like how the ending for Nam Tae Hyung was written. He went astray the moment he hit someone while drunk driving. His mother covered it up for him without him knowing. He was later hit by a truck arranged by his own mother behind his back. The target wasn't him, but I think it's poetic justice that things turned out that way. His second big crime, letting Min Young fall off the abandoned building to cover up his first crime, was in a way repaid to Min Young by himself dying and donating his liver to their kid, Sol.
Meanwhile for Ham Sook Jin, whose multiple crimes were committed by abusing her power, authority, and connections, were punished by her partners in crime abandoning her one by one (even her own son), leaving her helpless and without any means to escape life imprisonment, a cell she created by her own doing.
so actually Jae Min likes his sister!?!??!?! XD oh god
Jae Min was secretly adopted by Hae Ran as her initial revenge plan to snatch Daekook Bakery (which was initially Bong Bakery belonging to her first husband) from Daekook and then revealing that fact to Daekook later.
That's why she has been hostile to Jae Kyung, because Jae Kyung would foil her plan.
Sun Hwa still doesn't know that Jae Min is Chilli Chicken whom she adores ๐
She claims that she's s big fan of Chilli Chicken and told Jae Min about it. He was blushing trying not to reveal he is the person behind the mask ๐
He's still passable to play a young adult character I guess (dude looks so different in both the past and the present).
There are short drama, miniseries, mid-length drama, and full-length drama.
Hope that helps.
