Still episod 2,, this drama too much flashback,, Chinese drama always like that, flashback most of the story. Somehow make audience confused,, watching because the rating is higher and also for Bai yu(Guardian),, but until episod 2, I didn't see Bai Yu, he only appears in flashback
It's been 4 years since I finished watching this drama. Until now, I still remember all the details. It's my number one drama from mainland China,truly unforgettable. From the actors, costumes, setting, dialogues, camera angles, to the plot—everything was perfect. I’ve been hoping for a season 2, but of course, that’s just wishful thinking since bromance dramas are banned in China. Still, there was a bit of hope when 'The Spirealm' was released, and more recently, 'Justice in the Dark', even though it was eventually taken over by WOWOW-japanese Tv channel.
