the FL barely appears in the drama. this is mostly about the ML's growth and journey in dafeng. I find the FL a breath of fresh air in the drama. The set up of this drama is very similar to many OP ML animes that I've watched. I like it a lot

The misunderstanding about the niece is what made Shu Yi chased after the ML. If it wasn't bcs of that, there would be no story of shuyi & shi yan 😅
