Best Medical CDrama
This drama can be said to be the best Chinese medical drama I have ever watched, the writer seems to really observe to write a very good script.
Story:
Zhou Xiaofeng (Mark Chao), a gentle and disciplined heart surgeon, Lin Yi (Jin Shijia from the drama Under the Skin) is also a heart surgeon who has just been transferred to work at Dongli Hospital and Fang Xiaoran (Rachel Mao) plays the role of an ICU doctor who is in charge of treating patients post heart surgery. Xiaofeng and Lin Yi have opposite temperaments. Lin Yi, although a talented surgeon, is someone who has explosive emotions and likes to talk nonsense. Xiaofeng is a reliable chief physician but is too submissive and respects his mentor who sometimes behaves unethically. Fang Xiaoran has the best attitude among the three of them.
Actually Zhou Xiaofeng and Fang Xiaoran are half-siblings but they keep it a secret from their colleagues at the hospital. Their mother is a famous cardiologist Fang Zhuqing who divorced Zhou Xiaofeng's father when he was little. Mother and son have a strained relationship like strangers and both try to fix their relationship.
Lin Yi herself has a heavy burden, besides being a doctor he also has to take care of her older brother who has a genetic heart disease (hereditary) and at any time he could also be diagnosed with the same disease.
A very good drama plot that tells the story of a doctor's work in the cardiac surgery department at Dongli Hospital. The three main leads help each other in carrying out their work even though sometimes there are differences of opinion but they can overcome them together. The cases handled are realistic and really happen in real life. Very good acting from the main actors to the smallest supporting roles, the audience can feel how the patients suffer until they unconsciously cry.
