Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it was accused of plagiarizing some elements from Doctor Strange, which is…
@Hikari no naka, I just read the article you refer to. The accusation, by marvelpictures, of copyright infringement, appears to concern not only the glow circle, but also the similarity of some scenes. (In which case the "favor" may be returned to MarvelPictures, because the original story comes from China, and the original novels come from Japan. ) If it is like you say, if it is just the glow circle that is exactly like the glowcircle in dr Strange, than this problem can be solved by the special effects team. And it will not be a huge problem. :-) Assuming they have the original filming materials, they can make some changes to the glowcircle, and then it won't be exactly the same anymore. Example: Make it white with blue on the outskirts, so it looks very high temperature. And you're good to go. Put lightning flashes on the outside, and you have the same result; no one can say it's the same as dr Strange. Very easy to solve. They can do that before the 4th of february. I hope they will. And I hope the effect is even more awesome than Marvel's movie. :-) But if the accusation concerns only the glow circle and Guo JingMing knows it is NOT the same, than you can just go to court and let marvel pay for the damages. But, Guo JongMing has probably not made enough money from this movie to "take" marvelpictures "on". So my guess is that Guo JingMing took a step back to let Netflix take over the copyright case, if they can not avoid it. This is just my thought on it. I don't know if it's true.
Though I am not Pearl Khan; the movie is based on a series that was written starting from 1986. The author is in the text with the movie-description at the top of this page on kisskh.
The link from Netflix [ to trailer Yin-Yang Master @ Netflix] has been restored. This means Netflix is not so sure the claim of Copyright Infringement is legitimate. The claim comes from MarvelPictures and concerns 2016 movie "Doctor Strange", but the series on which Yin-Yang Master is based, is much older than this 2016 movie. The series is from 1986. ( Now, who is copying who exactly ;-) ) So possibly the movie will be shown at Netflix on the 4th of February. Let's hope it does.
Thank you for sharing this, Pearl Khan. I was wondering what had happened. Would you maybe have a link to an announcement or something? I can't read Chinese text in a video.
anyone willing to tell us the ending ? pls hv mercy on us ... either boya died or anything ? pleaseeee
On twitter there are some people who have been to the red-carpet event, the previews and the premiere. Search on twitter for "#DengLun" and you will find them.
There is a bet made by the leads. If the box-office exceeds 3 billion yuan Deng Lun and Zhau You Ting will do something special. I'm not allowed to write it here, you'll have to look it up.
He is so handsome honestly I was shocked at how handsome he was in The romance of Hua rong
Same here. I did not know any man could be this beautifull looking. (Sorry for just highlighting this quality, and not all other qualities.) Good luck to Yuan Hao with the career, and use your good looks well while you can.
