XK most underrated actor in my opinion. The reason he has been successful in my opinion is not the roles he has been given, but the special quality he gives each character he portrays.

I thought they don't like his Cantonese accent. Is this a compliment or criticism?
I speak Cantonese not Mandarin so when I first came across XK speaking Cantonese, it was then that I immediately realized what an alluring voice he has. His voice to me is as handsome, charming, and expressive as his face. I hope he can use it more so he can strengthen it and train it.

My gut feel is no. She's not his type in my opinion based on interviews of him discussing what is his type. I've deleted my posting. I just wanted to share so many great comments about him and what a great person he is in real life.

Ever since SAF6, I watched CP1 with Hu Ge and Crystal Liu. They are good looking and top notch. When Xu Kai was asked about his looks, he said he's not really that good looking because his face is short and round, and features are sharp. Then they asked him who is handsome, and he said Hu Ge.

This story is best appreciated by people who have read the trilogy in Chinese and have an understanding of Chinese history.

In ep 13, that was a Xu Kai moment as he passed by the fl, he flashed a huge grin, then turned back to throw her a kiss with two fingers of both hands and shouts "It's Me", then turn back again and with both hands behind him, he shakes them in playful gesture.
XK did a great job acting the growth stages of his character.

The older actors like ml's father's is such a great actor. Such a treat to get to watch this kind of acting.
