Its the type of series they know people will be watching just for the dudes and hot scenes. Social media material, plain and simple. It’s the same with 99% of BLs out there: rushed unrealistic storyline, stereotypical characters, classic good old scenes like two adults deciding to have a conversation under pouring rain for no reason, ukes that get sick every other episode just so their doms can come to the rescue, there’s always a virgin who pretends to be innocent, etc etc etc. BUT the fanservice is on point, the actors are fairly talented and charismatic, so it serves it purpose I guess? lol
