What was with that scene with the gambling loan shark guy talking to the ML’s best friend in secret though? He still left to Taiwan according to ML’s arrangement anyway, so are we supposed to assume he ignored the chance of taking care of the debt himself? I’m just extremely annoyed Bora seems to forgive her ex’s cheating so easily??? With all that “nice” speech he came up with to try to win her over again, I would’ve kept saying “Okay, but that’s not an excuse to cheat” or “Yeah, but sorry I can’t look past the cheating to be with you again”

I love this drama, but damn there are so many annoying side characters to hate. Like these are some top-of-the-line douchebags. Even the nice characters be doing stupid shit— it’s actually making me mental I’m about to lose it every episode

My prediction on why they emphasize the kiss as a “mistake” from the preview is probably that typical misunderstanding that happens when hearing stuff from others first before clarifying anything with the actual ppl involved, which makes ML(in this case) the one that can’t help but come to a hurtful assumption that his feelings were taken lightly. Like maybe, immediately after the kiss, FL just needed to tell someone about it (so her bff ofc) to cool off or figure her feelings out, but unintentionally/offhandedly said it was a “mistake” as kind of a means of protection for herself or pride.

Then her bff just had to tell ML about it and ofc he would zone in on the word “mistake” like who wouldn’t be hurt about that if it esp happened when they were both hella sober. like oh it was one-sided? but it will be satisfying once FL finally explains herself i.e. the apology in the preview lol
