Yes that actually one of my favorite part in the novel. That time LJQ is really dying and he is rescued by Lanxiang. Lanxiang also rescue ZXT and accompany her in her last time. Quite heartwarming moment in the novel.

I think because Zhao family is a close ally with current emperor, so they help emperor to clean up the ex emperor people including the deposed crown prince.

I remember Yang Zi drama "The Heir" when they talk about Li ink 😄

Lin Xiuwan is Lin Jinqi's cousin, she is daugther of Lin Jinqi's uncle (Lin Changmin). Lin Xiushu (4th sister) is his real sister from the same mother, the others girls (1st and 3rd) are his stepsister. Lin Jinqi father total has 3 concubine. You can see the relationship chart here https://x.com/tansongyun26/status/2098228059824669173

Keep going, its getting better

Zheng family who orchestrate the abduction because they want to build family ties with Lin (political interest). Lanxiang will be married as official wife after Lin Jinqi ask emperial decree for that.

In the novel, Lin Jinqi (Lin Jinlou) really going crazy to find Lanxiang, he use his resource to find her in every possible city. I cant wait to see how the adaptation will show this, cant wait to watch ep 23 and 24 tomorrow.

Me too, actually I watch that drama because of Zhou Dongyu (i love her movie project), and then it become my first time discovering Liu Xueyi and hope he is the main lead..

In the novel she will comeback in capital arc..

Lin Jinqi jealous era is here, and we see another character in the end of 20th episode (Zheng Bai Chuan) cant wait for next episode..

Yes, 100% agree

I understand this, actually this also show how limited women can do in that era, sad reality. Also we realise that not everyone can be as wise as Lanxiang, who can choose the right way to survive and have a better life. In the end we kinda understand the motive or background the villain character..

No problem. I always come to this page also to check what I miss from the show. I think the director like to show in subtle way and not obvious, sometimes I dont catch it too 😅

Even for someone who reread the novel for so many times, I get confused too, they change a lot of plot

The orchid also our female lead flower (symbol), it also this series name in Chinese about orchid fragrance that lingers or not change..

I think Du Cuique kinda acknowledge what Lanxiang say. Du Cuique repeat what Lan Xiang said that there was a woman who can remembered in history and so on..but considering her victim mentality I don't think she will change to be a good person after this

Omg you are so smartttttt

I rewatch LJQ and Lanxiang scene in episodr 16 so many times, cant get enough

Agree, I love the adaptation so far

Episode 15 and 16 really make me smitten, LJQ already falling in love with Lanxiang..
