Based on novel, Lin Jinqi only has kid with Lanxiang.
Based on spoiler, I think it related to Marquis Yuan who want to take concubine because Lin Jinqi sister only labor daughter not son, or it can be that Lanxiang have a hard difficult childbirth process..

So many people dont get this because they dont really watch the first episode, some of them watch in 2x speed or skip. That's why they always confuse and did not get the story right..

Because I have read the novel, I dont get surprise with what Lin Jinqi did to get married with Lanxiang, actually his character has been tone down a lot. I think the writer still need to keep similar trait with the novel (how obsessive ML to FL). I just curious how will they show us the relationship between Lanxiang and Lin Jinqi after they get married. Cant wait for the capital arc..

In the novel he choose to marry a noble lady to save his family, in the end their family got problem in the court so they choose to move out from capital..

I just feel sad that LJQ didnt meet Lanxiang in Yangzhou, I feel sorry for him. Idk if Lanxiang in the future will know that LJQ actually trying to save her. I also curious how the two of them will make up after a forced marriage. How long will Lanxiang get angry with LJQ, what will make she forgive him?
