A painful watch

I want to start off by saying I'm not trying to bash the actors, I'm only criticizing the writing and characters.

My biggest issue was that the character Im Sol was just straight up annoying. It's like they tried to make her as cringe as possible. The dialogue was unbearable and I hate that she cries almost every episode, they made her just so....helpless. All she does is cries out for Sun Jae?? That's pretty much the reason I had to force myself in order to finish the series.

I've never cried this much watching a drama

11/10 recommend, omg. I've been looking for a drama with "deeper" writing because all I've been watching were fluffy feel-good romance dramas, and no hate to those but it was getting a little repetitive. I was half expecting this drama to be like that but boy was a wrong. This is so much more than a romance drama - it touches heavily on topics such as family, hardship, failed dreams, pain, loss, etc. It had me bawling from start to finish.

Definitely recommend!

This series was so refreshing. You can tell the portrayal of an autistic person was done thoughtfully and respectfully. I think Park Eun-bin seriously did a fantastic job and was the perfect casting for Woo Young Woo! As for Junho, I've seen a lot of people call his character boring but I don't think a male lead character has to be like foolishly in love and over the top like most dramas in order to be a good ML! Sometimes, all you have to be is kind, caring, understanding, and loving. I like how the writers didn't make their relationship the biggest plot of the show so that it doesn't overshadow Young Woo's journey of becoming an attourney.

AHHHHH

I just really enjoyed this drama lol
I CRAVE a satisfying revenge scene and this kdrama DELIVERED. I hate when antagonists don't get served justice or walk away with a slap on the wrist but the mom/sister seriously got what they deserved. The female lead came back stronger after getting a second chance at life; I sometimes can't stand when FLs are weak and powerless and depend on a male lead for everything. I'm not usually into afterlife/second life series but this one was really good.
Overall, I highly recommend this drama if you like justice being served.

Male lead literally assau1ts a guy and let's a guy get gang gRaped.

Hell no...I just finished the first episode and just NO. Chi Cheng the snake guy just let a guy get gRAPED by his henchmen. He also did whatever with another guy after the snake betting scene, and the guy was clearly against it and non-consenting. Watched it on youtube and went down to the comments expecting people to criticize the episode for literally normalizing grape but no...everyone was literally praising the show???? Am I crazy or???? Bad acting and scriptwriting aside, how are people literally watching this and saying this shit is good??? I know grape in shows/movies happen and it's done in a way that conveys just how twisted and sinister an "evil" character can be, but I've NEVER seen people praising a grapist character in a show. That's my problem - the scriptwriters, directors, producers etc. just allowed all this shit go down and still want the audience to empathize and like the character??? And the worse part is that people actually DO like Chi Cheng?? I put myself through the whole episode but I can't physically make myself click on episode 2.
