yes foolish epilogue of last 2 minutes quite out of place kow-tow to Chinese censor 〜so I will disregard it and consider the boys live together happily ever after💛💛

このどらまは おかしいだよ〜this is a good drama now dated as you can see from the ancient technology but、still worth watching for the storyline〜 part sci-fi part thriller、 with some sadness、 main criticism is Rin the bad twin brother is rather overplayed〜もちろん、そう 言え ば ウイルスも話題になっているよね！
enjoyable entertainment with a few dark features maybe making it not entertainment for whole family the supernatural theme which initially attracted me was intriguing to start though this and Eiichi as ghost hunter faded away like a ghost in the night towards the end as maybe it was no more than a metaphor for ghosts within the family characters themselves to be laid to rest？the final frame of grandfather and sister/daughter suggests happy resolution💛
The ending did feel rushed, but it became clear to me that Lan Jue and Zhang Ping most likely covered up the truth…
yes they obviously turned story to favour a "good" emperor、 however there was nothing initially to say Shulin was bad as indeed he was great friend of Lan and whole back story centres on Empress Dowager conspiracy and he was the victim and Lan / Zhang were supposedly deep in search of truth so、 I just say it is inconsistent and does not hang together （also the "good" emperor was initially depicted in not so good terms） so I think it would be better if they had stuck to story of uncovering truth with a more convincing ending and to find a different person for bad character as it seems whole drama changed course in last few episodes〜at least that is my feeling
I loved the earlier episodes but the end （and last few episodes）though spectacular was filled with inconsistencies Two mainly stand out： 1 〜how does Lan suddenly become so eager to save the Empress Dowager regime given the whole story for most of the drama was his great obsession with exonerating his father from her false charges ? and note the exoneration given only one line throwaway mention in last episode？2 〜Zhang 's character is all about his moral uprightness and obsession with truth but we see in last episode his smart deduction supposedly "proving" Shulin was not Empress Dowager's true son is WRONG as we see in the final confrontation between her and Shulin？ in both cases this appears all false and hurriedly patched up to give ending where the substitute emperor ”good guy” can triumph and the people ”live happily under a benevolent ruler”、 but this is to negate the plot exposition for most of the drama。 So for me this is a case as with many dramas where the resolution is not as satisfying as the main body of the drama。 There are other unconvincing elements like in the final episode Lan suddenly conveniently has a dead wife and son sent away and coming back、 and how an obvious strong bond between Lan and Zhang is watered down so great care is taken they never touch or even hug in emotional moments。 I suspect the drama was hurriedly gutted and patched up in many points to satisfy a censor which would explain the plot holes and contradictions at the end why the drama was delayed so long and the odd run of 29 episodes ？still I will use my imagination on the characters at least💛
certainly story is wandering but、 beautiful actors and costumes and weird comedy keep me watching and amused ・as I watched more in some ways gets better but、spoiled by trying too hard to force some so called ”normal romance” into a bl story does not really work at all 〜I just apply my ”reverse censorship” so 、💛💛
very good production costumes settings cosmetics attention to detail 、rather complicated crime plot and needs careful attention I think。Lan Jue is an unattractive character though Zhang Ping is an attractive character for me。 why is duration of this drama shown as 45 min here but actually only 35？
well third way through〜 and it did not
