yes a lot has changed in Japan in a decade but like anywhere having minority sexuality still not easy

episode 1 really gets in a lot of raw emotion with some nice rhythmic gymnastics to take the mind off the fighting〜 I assume the role of ”fighter Kamenashi” will be to inject the ”fighting spirit” to the group。This was a long but good first episode but will it sustain interest over so many episodes I wonder？

lovely sensitive film about gay relationship and triangle with unaccepting mother。I am not sure whether to take the ending at face value as showing the loyalty and dedication of love or read into it maybe a more complex interpretation〜 probably both as relationships are complex。I do want to take it as a happy ending though。 In Korea real gay dramas or films are still rare compared with Japan so I hope we see more〜10/10

aa, thank you it does seem like Sky Castle and I found the pressure on children there hard to watch and that was only 16 episode！ we all have different qualities、 for me parents should appreciate their children as they are

hormones love hate bullying exams rich-poor depression (mine)ー the usual mix ー really I can not get any strong feelings about this drama except distaste for the girl bullies (no boy bullying up to ep 3) 〜gets better after episode 2 with real focus on problems

I am attracted by this （sounds like K-drama 「Sky Castle」） but 49 episode？ will I give up in despair half way？？

for what it is quite good but I was looking for more time travel and sci fi and so far this is just more coming of age・ school romance story with very thin sci fi twist

yes I like him in nice character I feel this was feel good by the end he was not bad but confused about himself and chose poor options until later

a beautiful sensitive film about love blossoming between two guys in a country setting far from metro hyperactivity〜though I do wonder how the relationship would be seen by the country community ーmaybe that is for the sequel？ we are now quite accepting in Tokyo of GL but I don't know about country areas so much。 kudos to Furukawa and Ryusei for fine acting。 this is debut of directing of Inoue Ryuta and promises well for the future。 the writing by Sato Kumiko was to me sensitive and well judged。I loved the wide angle lingering shots of the rugged countryside of Chikuma and Ueda where the film was set

very well crafted movie but seriously you only get as many holes and coincidences as this in quantum mechanics 〜too violent for me but with bizarre rays of sunshine in the first 5 minutes and the final 1 minute maybe stretching neat plot construction beyond credibility 〜I prefer to think of the start and finish as a nicer parallel universe to take my mind off the darkness 9/10 for slick production and direction

very sensitive excellent BL drama set around love triangle〜 dragged a little in middle then better towards end and surprise ending〜production not always smooth and cuts too sudden、 maybe ending rather rushed and english subtitles not so good 〜but I felt it was excellent genuine BL/gay drama and enjoyed it very much⁽ ¨̮⁾⁽¨̮ ⁾*˚‧♡

so many strands in the plot of this drama in episode 1 it is like a web〜 highly improbable but it is involving 三浦春馬「Fight for your heart」

Miura Haruma、 Toda Erika and Takei Emi excel in good serious roles 〜this is a heavy drama but with wonderful gleams of brightness to light the way and stay with you〜 it may be hard for some to follow and some may find it sentimental rather than uplifting but it is worth sticking to it。

I think the English word is smutty but it is fun and very brave to include the gay theme in 2008 when even then I think Japan was more backward in accepting gay relationships.

on this I revise my view：do not look for real sci-fi ーany sci-fi element here disappears pretty quickly (except at the end) and it is really a slow but fun and homely drama with nice characters that also touches on some serious life issues as it goes on。 if you do not mind slow kind of youth drama and Japanese quirky provincial humor it is worth sticking with 9/10

out of interest what is other bad drama?

the remote format is interesting but if you watch you will know they could not stick completely to this to explain the story 〜did not really work for me trying to follow talk between six people on screen although it became quite scary in second half but the ending was as I suspected but　？ what happened to Toru〜I go with average score on this 7/10

the first 「Hana Yori Dango」 I did not like〜as for this after some episodes looking beyond the nasty peasant hunting theme and developing more sympathy for the characters I like it much better
