I think this is prequel storyline about how he got the scar and his wife (based on Trust and Betrayal storyline) and will not show his death. Also, about his death, even the creator of Rurouni kenshin have said that it is non-canon.

So can someone answer few of my questions. What happened to Aoshi in the end? What about the fight between Cho and Enishi? Why did they reduce Kaoru's role by so much in the movie? Also, I think they could have made 2 movies for this story line.
