For anyone who watched Love and Redemption, how's the romance and chemistry? I'm looking for a drama that has…
It was a good drama with lots of romance and all but my only gripe with this drama is the ending. Not the epilogue but the ending. It was expecting something with a bang, a great battle between good and evil, but it ended with a whimper but introducing some deus ex machina.
221 dramas and 43 movies in a year?? My god!!! That is like you watched a drama in one and a half day. I don't know if I should respect you or be afraid of you.
ahn min hyuk aka min min from strong woman do bong soon - he added fuel to the rumours that he is gay so that…
That is one apt description of ML from 100 days my prince. Each time I hear about this drama, the first thing that comes in my mind is "Am I the only one feeling uncomfortable?"
Yes I feel like they will not have time to wrap up everything nicely, I hope I am wrong...
I'm sorry but that is not the proof that this series will have a Season 2, even if it does end up having one. Almost all OCN series in Wikipedia is marked as season 1. Look it up. Train, Kill it, Watcher, Tell Me What You Saw etc. Also, Bad Guys season 1 and 2 had different characters and story line. Season 2 was like a different series. It was even marked as Bad Guys 2 Season 1 in Wikipedia
That poster is completely wrong for this movie. It is true that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. This movie is really dark consisting of three interconnecting stories led by three main characters respectively but the poster makes it seem like some lighthearted comedy. All in all, I found the movie very interesting. I liked how story of each character impacted the story of other characters.
What makes me sad is the low ratings in here..People watch it thinking it's another one of those 'romance' dramas…
Wait, 8.1 is a low rating? That's a high rating in my books. Also, you say, this is not for everyone, then how do you even expect it to have high rating? Your statement is very contradictory. However, this drama has a unique storytelling even though story itself was nothing new. And So, I agree with you that people should watch it for this unique storytelling. Trust me, you won't bored.
Could it be A Cure for Wellness? xD That's what it reminds me of. That movie is creepy af but Dane DeHaan did…
Not, that one. I remember that the movie had two detectives, one young and one old. The daughter of the old one was heavily involved with the bad guy. Throughout the course of the story, the old guy slowly learns that his daughter is involved with the bad guy. The young detective was more of a supporting role.
As much as I liked the epilogue, I didn't like the ending of this drama. I was expecting some big fight or a massive showdown but all the bad guys in this drama went out in a whimper. Also, ending that last battle using that deus ex machina (aka Heavenly Emperor) felt so unsatisfying.
I am the one who share my Google drive. I'm currently working on episodes 54-59. Will post them in the same folder.https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OsgCf_OmQkaAxGT3dHtgb3aOMrAQ_mEZ?usp=sharing
Great Article. I just want to point out that, Hwayugi is the perfect example of how you can have everything right but you can go completely wrong at the same time. Anyway, my favorite dramas, in no particular order, might me Just between lovers, The Memorist, Welcome to Waikiki S1, Signal and Reply 1997. Also, Honorable mentions to The Smile Has Left Your Eyes as well as all Shin Hye-Sun's Dramas because I like her acting.
