i didn't think too much of the show in general until the ending which i thought was outstanding. what were your guys' thoughts on it? wook being in the car with hyun-su makes me think that that eui-myeong shifted into his body. all of his face scars are gone and i feel like his voice wasn't the same. wondering why yi-kyung joined the forces at the end, she didnt even seem that controlled by them as she drove off by herself.
this is insignificant but anyone know why they wear the earphones most of the time, esp. when hunting for the monsters? just listening to music? when i first started watching i thought it would just be hyun-su's "thing" but actually most of the other characters did as well.
if u got the whole villain plot and motives can you explain it to me?because im kinda confused..like with the…
could you clarify the names of the 2 guys? i think i know one of them who you are talking about but not sure about the other. sorry my memory's gone a bit off
if the drama wasnt so involved around the murder case and dark themes it wouldve been alot better as it was unnecessary. although the lighthearted and refreshing aspects of this drama were very good, and i enjoyed the side couples.
could anyone recommend similar dramas to this in terms of being lighthearted and refreshing but more preferably without a more dark concept which the drama would revolve around?
this is probably an unpopular thought but so-yoon is one of my favourite characters on this show so far (up to ep.7). she barely has any screen time, but i find her character so cute and unexpectedly funny. on top of that, her peculiar relationship with her twin sister and her tendency to repeat english words in good pronunciation makes her character stand out to me. every scene of hers gives me a reaction!
just finished watching youth of may and its the first time ive fully cried to a kdrama. of course ive had a few teary eyed moments but i wouldve never expected myself to become this emotionally attached to a series. i started watching this expecting a light hearted drama. as the episodes went on it only got exponentially dark and violent, making me hate the show more and more - up until the ending moments of the series where i wouldve rated it a 6.5/7. despite such a dark journey to the ending, it is one which i can appreciate so much, even though it was eventually expected.as the series wrapped up the whole meaning and message of the drama came in at once and it hit me very deep. if i had dropped this drama i would have hated the way it turned so dark so unnecessarily. but this drama just hit so different, i may give it a 10 after completing it. a rarity
this might not be that important but when buyeon and uk hugged in that bamboo forest (around 51:00, ep.6), when Buyeon said "I will keep you warm and help you rest comfortably"; I swear her voice perfectly mimicked Mudeok's voice exactly including her accent. when she said "and help you rest comfortably" I freaked out, it just sounded so accurate. props to GYJ for mastering these intricate details
ive just finished episode 1;so is naksu's soul fully gone now? is go yoon-jung supposed to be naksu's body or…
also, why the hell is jinmu still affiliated with the palace? after all of the things he did with the queen and making a fake buyeon, it doesnt make sense
so is naksu's soul fully gone now? is go yoon-jung supposed to be naksu's body or buyeons body? or it really doesn't matter because no one knows what she would look like at that age? but if thats the case why does she have the body of the original naksu which was shown in season 1? i wouldve expected some people to recognise that her face is naksu's.
or is naksu still there but she lost her memory because she died? this isnt really that important to the story but i want it to make sense in my head because there's a lot of scenarios which couldve happened.
i havent seen anyone talking about the ost! the soundtrack for this drama is all so good... i didnt realise it that much while watching the series but as i listen to it back it reflects the drama very well. the track by gaho is a masterpiece
can anyone recommend some good kim yoo-jung dramas? i need to recover from this by watching something with a better ending 🥲. i was thinking of lovers of the red sky
Well, it's losing his appealing side episode after episode unfortunately. Not bad, but definitely not what episode…
i actually thought the starting episodes were weak, and that the drama was pretty overrated but now after seeing the last few episodes (7 & 8) it has grown on me a lot. now i cant wait for the next episode release
50 days to prepare myself ðŸ˜
