I don't know if anyone has mentioned this here before, but while rewatching from the beginning on Youku, I saw Chinese comments explaining that during the scene when Youqin 1.0 was about to die in Yetan's arms, he already closed his eyes but Yetan frantically called for him to wake up, so he told her he "won't sleep" and kept his eyes open from then till even after his death. It's such a small detail but so touching. He kept all his promises to her since beginning till end. It has been a long long time since I found a couple in drama that I love and admire this much.
