I need season 2 of Newtopia

From the moment it was announced with the stellar cast of Park Jeong Min and Jisoo, I was counting down the days. And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!
Right from the get-go, this drama had me on the edge of my seat. The plot was so engaging, I was completely hooked. And the zombies? Seriously impressive! Even if they used CGI, they felt incredibly real, and honestly, it didn't take me out of the experience at all.
What's brilliant about "Newtopia" is how it balances the dark, often grim atmosphere with moments of genuine peace and unexpected comedy. It keeps things from getting too heavy, making it a truly enjoyable watch.

I absolutely loved the dynamics between the different teams. Lee Jeong's crew, with the soldiers and the hotel folks, had such a fantastic synergy. And the bond between Kang Young Joo and her friend, the resilient Seo Jin Wook, was just awesome to watch! Each character brought their own unique flavor to the story, making them all memorable in their own way.

Honestly, episodes 1 through 8 flew by! There wasn't a single dull moment for me. Plus, I appreciated how the drama gave us a glimpse into Lee Jeong and Kang Young Joo's college days – those flashback scenes were hilarious and provided a great lighthearted break from the zombie chaos.

However, there's one thing that's been nagging at me. We had this significant character, Seo Jin Wook, Kang Young Joo's steadfast friend who fought alongside her against the undead. But around episode 7, his storyline kind of went silent. It left me wondering: did they ever reunite? What happened to him? This loose end definitely has me curious!
Overall: "Newtopia" is a fantastic blend of suspense, action, and heart, with a touch of humor that keeps you invested. The performances are top-notch, the zombie sequences are gripping, and the team dynamics are a joy to watch. While the mystery surrounding Seo Jin Wook's fate lingers, it doesn't detract too much from what is otherwise a thoroughly entertaining and engaging drama. Fingers crossed for a potential season 2 to answer some of those burning questions!"
