messy and realistic
honestly, only started watching for aouboom and only stayed for aouboom. they ATE IT UP as romeraffy. this role was literally MADE for them. cant get enough of aou with the nose ring and booms diva style throughout the series.it's not like earthmix and jossgawin didn't do well, i just think there was something about romeraffys story that kept me (and honestly most of the other viewers) hooked.
ive seen earthmix in moonlight chicken and i loved them, as for jossgawin, im hoping to see better works as main characters (because my golden blood was a mess). but I've seen their individual works in several series' and i know these men can ACT really good!
jackdean were messy, unpredictable, sometimes (a lot of times) toxic and dare I say, jack is the biggest red flag in the series, but thats a conversation for another day. the plot was missing something sometimes but earthmix still performed incredibly.
arnoldtua were the cutest, friends to lovers tropes will never fail! tua is such a cutie, i was smiling everytime I saw him on screen. i wish there was more depth to their story considering this is ONLY FRIENDS, it could've been messier but thats just my opinion.
once again, romeraffy, i can go on about them for days. they were freaky, cute, scandalous and sometimes a little stupid, but goddamn they kept me hooked, i would wait for each episode to drop and lowkey just pay attention to their parts. their introduction was crazy enough, the car scene, the SWIMMING POOL?? and they even ended their story by recreating how they met. they will be one of my most memorable aouboom characters for sure. they kept me SITTING IN MY CHAIR and GIGGLING at their freaky scenes the whole time, reminded me of how i only watched season one for sandray.
raffy is honestly my favourite, he's just so relatable, I LOVE HIM.
i also love how we saw the first season relationships evolved, sandray MY CUTIES, everytime they were on screen, ID HOLD BACK A YELL. topmew, finally having a good and loving relationship with no boston meddling in between.
and of course, boston, our sweet, green flag boston (he's changed so much but also not at the same time hahahahha). i loved the boston and nick conversation because that is EXACTLY the closure both of them needed to move on. i mean nick already moved on, but i think that convo was very important for the end of their story, im so happy nick found someone who loves him and doesn't treat him like boston does. maybe one day boston will stop being the greenest flag in the world (sarcasm) and find and love a man without breaking his heart. or maybe not, maybe boston should just stay alone (that'd be good for everyone's sanity ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜)
if you love messy relationships, fighting, divas (raffy and dean) and just drama ABSOLUTE drama. then only friends and only friends dream on should definitely be on your list <3
(I'll miss romeraffy 💔💔)

one of the best shows gmmtv has produced. definitely worth watching
i literally have nothing bad to say about this show. it is easily one of the best shows ive ever watched. if anyone is considering watching this, definitely do! it's so worth it and SO UNDERRATED.i will be honest and say that i cried in every episode!
and of course, we'll miss nong sun so much.
the representation of different mental health topics is what really pulled me into this show. there's representation of ocd, depression, age regression (a way of the brain to cope with traumatic events) and it is done SO WELL.
this show has love, sadness, found family, everything you could possibly think of, all combined into a masterpiece.
perthsanta nailed their roles.
i really really REALLY hope santa gets many awards for this role, i can't imagine how hard it was to play as both solar and sun, but he absolutely killed it. he's so freaking talented and I'm so hyped for any of his upcoming works, i know he can never disappoint. the panic attack scene, the distinct acting from when he switched between solar and sun, everything was absolute talent!
perth also, nailed it. im sure so many people can relate with pobmeks situation, getting compared with other people of your age, your parents trying to control your whole lives, not being able to ask for help even when you're stuck and just feeling like you're not good enough for anything. perth really nailed those feelings!
pobmek and solar are really the greenest flag couple ive seen, they helped each other get better, through thick and thin. even when pobmek was exhausted, mentally and physically, he still took care of sun/solar. solar taught pobmek that it's okay to ask for help when things aren't easy. they just complete each other <3 their domestic, lovey dovey moments will be engraved in my brain.
also kay and sammy, oh my god.
teacher jee and p' sodcheun are integral parts of the story, without them, it would've been very hard for pobmek to deal with everything. pobmek, solar, jee and sodcheuns friendship means everything to me.
jee and the ocd representation is really heartwarming to see, as someone with ocd, i rarely see a character with ocd, so this was a treat for me! while jees reactions do seem too exaggerated sometimes, it's honestly how i would feel on the inside in a similar situation. i also love pobmek and jees friendship. it really makes you think of how pobmek hated jee only because of his mother and not actually because jee was perfect. it shows another side of the story of how he was pitted against jee just because his mother had really high expectations from him. (also, some of the funniest scenes were the kids shipping pobmek and jee HAHAHAHA)
principal sodcheun and her outfits had me in awe EVERYTIME. honestly i loved everyone's outfits, but hers would always catch my eye, so over the top BUT IN AN ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS WAY. p' sammy once again, giving me a really memorable character even while not being the main. I'll keep coming back to see p' sodcheun for her iconic style and funky hairstyles ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ«¶
the kids all did so well! the series would feel incomplete. every kid had a distinct personality and i loved them all. the four and king duo is probably my favourite though, really remind me of me and my bestfriend when we were in 2nd grade together hahahahah.
also special mention to the child actor (im sorry I forgot his name!) playing nong sun, he did so well! such a talented kid :)) ive seen him in duang with you too. he always plays such traumatised characters but does it soososo well.
seeing him smiling with pobmek and solar at the beach in the last episode really warmed my heart. they're a complete family because sun will always be there with solar, in his heart and of course, with pobmek <3
im really emotional, but I'm so proud of perthsanta for this, this will really be one of their most memorable projects for me.
also I WAS NOT EXPECTING SEAKEEN?? but oh my god, they really fit those characters!!!! they're sooosososo cute as tharawayu. id love to see a spinoff of love you teacher, with seakeen <3
overall, like i said, there's nothing bad about this series. it's such a shame that gmmtv has this geoblocked in almost every country, so it didn't get as popular as it should've. but that doesn't stop me from loving it! i waited for MONTHS for this to be released and I'm really glad to say it didn't disappoint me at all. it will be a really memorable show for me. it's ingrained in my mind that i cried 10 times (every episode) THEY SAID IT WAS A ROMCOM (ahahahaha but I'm not complaining, i love me some angst).

must watch if you want to cry your heart out
absolute peak cinema. the acting, the colour grading, the cinematography, the script, they did not miss ANYTHING.i love angst and this is literally what i reach for whenever im sad and need an outlet. i can't cry easily just from my feelings but this just opens the floodgates every time.
jeff and engfa literally KILLED IT in this movie. while this movie can't be called comforting AT ALL, it's become my comfort.
really shows the struggle that queer people went through JUST TO GET BASIC RIGHTS and still a majority of them in most of the countries don't have the same rights as the others. this world is such a unfair place, there's so much to hate in this world and people decided to choose to despise love, just because it doesn't look like THEIR definition of love.
i hope other countries become open to queer people and let them live and love however they want. while thailand has made queer marriage legal, most countries (including mine) are literally destroying what little rights queer people have, and it's so messed up.
this movie is a GREAT GREAT take on this inequality and it's definitely worth giving a watch even if it's not someone's usual style. kudos to the director, the actor and everyone else involved in the making of this film, i hope it gets more recognition in the further days.
