The random drama is Life Optimal Solution. It will take over 12/28 in the primary time slot (7:30-9:30) and part of secondary (9:30-11:30) on January 1 after The Vendetta of An ends. This leaves no timeslot available for TUS for December.

There's no way the director will let TUS go as a web series. No matter how long the wait, it will definitely go on CCTV8. Being on CCTV channels is like getting a quality stamp of approval. CCTV is very picky. They only go for high quality dramas. The dramas have to pass their strict reviews, and actors must use their original voices. CCTV tends to select tribute/propaganda/spy /family dramas. They never go for fantasy. If I'm not mistaken, TUS might be the first to air on CCTV. So, TUS being selected for CCTV is a big thing. It will benefit the director, production, and the actors involved .

I really don't mind if its postponed. CP fans are the most toxic fans. Chinese fans over there seems pretty ok with it. One, it doesnt clash with the leads' upcoming December dramas. The Glory for HMH and the rumored My Destiny for TSY. Two, they are hoping it would air during winter vacation(Feb) when the students are on break. Xinxia genre does well with younger viewers.

Anyone happy with the latest rumor about my destiny airing next year? I know I am. This year, CCTV is packed with a lot of good shows already aired or still waiting to be aired. I feel its best to air beginning of year rather towards the end. And with unclouded soul waiting to air on cctv , its really a feat for tsy to have 2 cctv dramas in one year. Hopefully, unclouded soul will be on cctv8 this year and my destiny on cctv1 next year. And I like to be a little greedy, hopefully Hunan Tv or other satellite stations will pick up My Destiny for its second run 🤞😀
