I really hope this one it better.

lol when i first watched the original i dropped it during Ma Hong Jun arc in the village because it was so boring. Then i forgot about it and stumbled across the novel like a few months . After reading it i came back to the show to give it another try. And typically, i don't compare books to their live action versions because I think it can be fun to see thing differently. But i was at a loss for word after picking that show back up. They change so much I was wondering if the show was actually based on the novel. That one girl that kept following them around was getting on my nerves. I could not comprehend why she was there taking up so much screen time. She was there to say a few sentences then disappeared when they had to fight. Why because she wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. They could have used the money they were paying her on something else. And they changed the characters so much. Ou Si Ke (Oscar) was smart, brave and an overall great character even though he couldn't fight like the others. But they made him a dumb writer "why." And as for Ma Hong Jun idk who that is he is not in the novel. I'm down for toning down a character (like Sanji for the one-pieceLA) but why didn't they just him have Ou Si Ke's traits. I had to drop the show again I couldn't get through it I tried fast forwarding but could take it anymore. if I was the author, I would be so mad at them for ruining my novel. I'm all for changes but what was the point they added so much unnecessary things while leaving out the good important bit from the novel.

Yeah, they actually changed lot of the backstory but kept the important parts basically the same. It really cool how they made a maybe 10-chapters backstory into an amazing 8 ep series. Season two will be great if they continue this way.

I was not expecting the rating for this drama to be this low. Is it really that bad I was planning to watch it when it finished airing.

start from the beginning S1 is only a flashback not the main story. Also, S1 is very different from the flashback in the webtoon. Season 2 should actually cover the content in the webtoon.

So, they are together from the beginning. Thats great I'm tired of watching these couples get together in ep 8 just to breakup in ep 10.
