She didn't take the train back with him (to return home from their beach trip) because she had a vision of the future and wants to confront the taxi driver herself (or rather, she doesn't want Sun-jae to be involved). Sun-jae is devastated and went back home alone. In the preview, we see Sol's mother asking Sun-jae about Sol's whereabouts. Sun-jae seems to have understood Sol's plan and called the detective. Then we see Sol near the cliff, looking scared, combined with Sun-jae's voice calling out to her. Then the screen shifts to 2023 with Sol's voice in the background suggesting that maybe she and Sun-jae shouldn't have met each other from the very beginning

No, I think she is the support system In-hyuk needs now. Lim Geum and her are funny, but they don't match each other well. Of course, it's just my personal opinion
