Healing never comes from hurting someone else. The FL lied, but it was out of a desperate need for the love she had always craved. The ML, on the other hand, lied to use her by manipulating her life, her feelings, and even her career. She loved him genuinely, whereas his affection was nothing but a facade. In the end, she chose divorce because the very reason she married him turned out to be nothing more than an illusion. Whatever he went through abroad with his ex has absolutely nothing to do with her, and she has no responsibility toward his past. I truly hope this drama ends with the FL finding her own path in life. After such a painful childhood, she deserves so much better and definitely NOT MLs dysfunctional a**.

He only ever truly loved his ex, and everyone knows that deep down. Anyone saying things like “he actually loved Xu Yan from the beginning but just never realized it” is only trying to convince themselves that the ML should love the FL no matter what 😏. If SHM was written as the second male lead instead, not a single person in this comment section would have liked him.

Because now NH likes Song Yi Meng (SYM), but we’re still unsure about the original script. The OG SYM was portrayed as love-brained and completely unaware of LSL’s identity. So if what they showed in Episode 1 is actually what happened — and NH truly betrayed the OG SYM because he fell for SYT who liked his LSL persona — then original Yi-Meng honestly deserved so much better.
After all, she didn’t do anything wrong except fall for NH’s schemes.
