OMG, so true! LR pulled me out of my K-drama slump. I tried a few other new dramas afterward but ended up dropping all of them, except for Romance in the House. However, this one is quickly becoming my absolute FAVVVVVV🫠
I skipped most of 7. The brother is too cringe and annoying.
His entry provided some comedic relief, but after he bought a house right next to the Xu Mansion, it was too much!! I have a feeling his character will turn negative soon.
Episodes 7-8 are good. I can see the second leads' relationship is going to be messy, while Xu Mu-chen will be an understanding husband 🤭 But Mu-chen should learn Rong-er's true identity sooner. I don't want the "mistaking someone else for the childhood sweetheart" plot or a last-minute revelation. We've seen enough of those. I'd rather watch Mu-chen discover the truth early, secretly help her, and have them investigate together & fall deeper in love. Their wit and strength complement each other so well! It'll be a power couple show all the way🔥 The only issue I have atp is that the pace of this drama makes it seem like they have 40 episodes to explain things rather than 24. But as long as they don't rush the ending, I'm okay with it.
Only two episodes on the first day? I really miss the days when C-dramas used to premiere with 8-10 episodes. Episodes 1 and 2 are fine. I thought they would show them as a married couple first and then reveal the past, etc through flashbacks, but this approach is good too. I hope they don't make the FL weaker as the episodes progress just to make the ML shine. I'd love for both of them to retain their original personalities since they are equals, as seen in the fight scene in Episode 1 where Mu-chen's bigger body proportion gives him an advantage (?) I hope the broadcast schedule is reasonable and without too much gap between episodes.
