honestly the FL in this drama sounds pretty interesting though. Like she has a PHD in the study of birds and does fashion blogging. It'd be cool if she used her intelligence in the drama and wow'ed everyone haha
If you have nothing nice to say please don't say it. It's ok if you're not a fan of her just don't watch the drama then. Because it really does make others feel bad about something they like. If you guys are willing to give it try watching love between fairy and devil. Some might find her voice annoying at the beginning but if you continue you'll realize it suits her character so well and the acting/chemistry between the main leads are so strong! It will be worth it!

Can I just write a Shang Que (Actor Charles) appreciation post here. His facial expressions are hilarious and he's just too precious. I just love it when he's reacting to DFCQ's mood swings or when DFCQ shows some worry for XLH and Shang Que is like "... um yes my lord" or "...shi (yes)..." with a baffled expression LOL.

I agree with you on that! Even though I'm not that bothered by her healing him since I feel like it's for the plot and stuff (and it's kind of healing his trauma), I don't want him to lose his power. Without his power I can't imagine what will happen to everyone. I don't want him to feel powerless. BUT then maybe XLH will reawaken as the goddess and she'll be the one that's powerful enough to protect them lol.

Yeah I was also thinking that could be the case too. It makes sense cause their love is the reason why he lost his hellfire so maybe if she dies he'll regain it or something. I agree it seems like she's going to sacrifice herself after the mortal arc. One is cause ep 20 is the start and she can't sacrifice herself within one episode before that (that would be in ep 19). And also after watching all the iqiy OST MVs and final trailer for some spoilers, I'm guessing what will happen is that in the mortal arc, she will reawaken as the goddess she used to be. Since in dramas like this gods & goddesses sometimes become mortal as a trial to regain their godly status/cultivate. Kind of like what's happening to Changheng even though he's being punished. Also, when XLH is the goddess her powers are green and that's what we see in the mortal arc in the final trailer when she protects DFQC and herself from some evil after they have their mortal marriage. Basically what I'm thinking is they'll go through the mortal arc looking for the goddess of war, encounter the main bad guy and somehow force XLH to reawaken as the goddess she used to be. Then they'll encounter some angst cause DFQC will feel a little hurt that the person he loves is also the person who sealed him for 30,000 years. Then somewhere along the way, there's going to be a final battle with war and stuff and DFCQ will lose his hellfire cause he experienced love. Then maybe Xufeng will convince XLH to sacrifice herself in order to bring peace to DFCQ or possible betray him to gain the throne (maybe idk since it seems their relationship seems to be ok now from ep.17-18). Then he'll try to revive her but if he does she has to follow the arranged marriage as the goddess with Changheng. THEN it'll be angst all over again and probably finally a HE. LOL I'm so invested in this drama that I began to do a little analysis because it's just too cruel to make us wait till august 30th for all the episodes. T__T
I don't know if anyone's seen the final trailer for this on iqiy's youtube BUT (SPOLIER AHEADDDDDDDDD) I always thought Xufeng (DFQC's little bro) would always be evil and betray him. Since in the trailer Xiao Lan Hua asks "if I die will he really be at peace/happy?" and Xufeng replies "yes." So I thought he was doing some kind of evil scheme cause in the end he wants to be the moon supreme. Basically I'm just wondering do you guys think XuFeng will betray his brother again even though from episodes 17-18 they made up. (I just want to find people to discuss with cause I cannot wait for aug 30th for all the episodes T__T. I wish they could just release it all now.)

OMG idk if you've watched the final trailer on iqiy's youtube page and the 3 MVs for the drama osts (liu yuning's, esther's, and charlie zhou's songs) but they show a scene near the end for all 4 videos that are TOO similar to Ashes of Love... T_T. I can't wait to watch it but gosh I just feel like so much angst is coming

I think if he did know then that would have been so much better for him because he then can freely love her (since everyone would finally know they are the same person). Their story is kind of tragic to be honest because he's originally suppose to marry her anyways but he's not the main lead so things happen. But the thing is he really is a good guy and I can't wait to see what happens in future episodes! That's why I love this drama because really both leads are so good.
