What I appreciate about this drama is that you can see how much Su Zai Zai and Zhang LunRang's conversations and interactions changed him and how slowly he came to realize his worth, to smile and have fun, as he put it, anticipating a new day. They have a one-of-a-kind relationship.

Most historical dramas are dubbed. Taking into consideration that ancient Chinese, in terms of wording, tone, pronunciation is vastly different from the standard/simplified Chinese that is used nowadays, as the language has evolved over time.
Also, the fact that each dynasty has its own accent/dialect.
Therefore production companies cast voice actors that are specialized in ancient Chinese language, so they can do an accurate representation of the period of time they're trying to portray

it's a good drama to binge-watch and the story development is nice too but I gotta say I found Yu Lexuan and Lei Zexin were more interesting than Feng Cheng Jun (such a bland character Song Wei Long did his best but that character was boring compared to the other characters on the drama)

I have seen photos of the cast wearing uniforms which means this drama is most likely is going to be developed in high school and that will probably mean that the skinship is going to be minimal or almost non-existent or they will stay just as a crush until they meet again as adults or in university as Chinese dramas rarely do heavy romance in school because they mostly spent their high school years studying for the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE/Gaokao) and if they do the drama is deemed as unrealistic by the general audience

This drama is cute and a little bit different from usual because it involves Tai chi. The pace of the story is quite interesting. I found all the characters likable.
The competitions were cool
On the other hand, I thought that romance wise while the main couple were really cute together, but sometimes it felt a bit stiff like you always have the sensation of wanting to add a bit more of skinship here and there, but I guess that understandable because the lead actor is an idol, nevertheless, they were still cute and entertaining to watch.
In my opinion, Bai Hai Yang and Xiao Xiao as a couple were more natural

The overall storyline is not good, it felt stuck in the same place.
I don't find the initial crush situation as bad as some people who have watched the drama. For example, people that are into kpop one day are professing their love to their bias and then someone else caught their attention and suddenly they change lanes, and all that love they had before just poof. The situation here is similar because Xiao Ruo never met Yusheng until she transferred to her school, so everything was platonic and then she learns he had someone he is "in love" so she decided to end her crush. Crushes on the most time are unilateral, you decided when to end it.
Yusheng was a boring main lead
Xiao Ruo was annoyingly kind to people that never took into consideration her feelings.
Chu Lu was likable at first but her character development was awful, in the end, she felt so selfish and self-centered.

My number one rule while watching a c-dramas is to never watch the opening and ending clips since you know it will contain spoilers, but for this one I did because I was confused after reading all the comments about who's the lead lol
My conclusions are that from the trailer, the opening and the ending the main love interest is pointing to Ye Miao. The drama, also, started with him in the SUV going toward Xia Ruining. I think the confusion is because the Baidu page seems a bit incomplete
Be aware, the drama looks all happy and cute but those clips show that there are some heavy angst and sad events on their way

It was an entertaining drama. All the characters are likable.
In my opinion, maybe fewer episodes would have been better. it gets a bit boring halfways and the acting needs to be perfected more.
The romance is the slow burn type, but they were cute together.
I never really understood the game they were playing xD but I admired their passion and determination.
The opening song by Wang Yibo is great.

its because most of gmmtv series are adaptations from thai shoujo mangas, like u-prince series, kiss the series, mint to be, boy for rent, etc. so their target is a younger audience. That's the reason why some of of the characters sometimes act too cartoonish and some of the actions for some people seem annoying and childish.
Gmm25 is the division in charge of the more mature dramas and the actors in them tend to do more acting workshop so they're able to deliver the challenging scenes better

This drama center around the debate team of the literature department and their dream to win the debate championship at their university.
The arguments/point of views were well played and the characters developed quite well through the drama.
While the romance is quite slow (if you hate that, then is not for you), but they were able to fill it with camaraderie and their high spirit to do well.
The leads are smart, they use reason and logic to support their point of views, you see them growing up and also struggling with each topic.
It's a quite refreshing drama that differs what is usually being portrayed in Chinese youth dramas lately.

Unpopular opinion: I didn't like this couple or the storyline like so many people did, I find both leads to always be in a circle of misunderstanding, they lacked trust toward each other, always fighting/crying over the same mistakes, it's like they never learn, in this one I just didn't like the FL lead personality and I'm not saying it like your typicalfangirlworshipMLbehaviorwheretheFLisalwaysatfault because I didn't like the ML personality either, but hers was another level.

For me the storyline is great and the drama is enjoyable, you can complain about Suzy all you want but her acting is bearable, she still needs to work on it, but is not the worst thing you ever saw, so if she stopping you from watching just give a try, the storyline felt more ML centric Lee Sang Yeob, Jung Hae In and Lee Jong Suk played well and filled in everything that was missing.
Even if Lee Jong Suk seems like he has been playing the same type of character over and over again in all the dramas he has acted.
In my humble opinion, the younger version of them were more outstanding, bright future for them.

I enjoyed the drama a lot, when they got together the chemistry was really good.
But that doesn't mean I didn't I have pet peeves about the storyline, but my main issue was the ML, yes he was hot, but his personality didn't match my taste that much, as always, people complain about the female lead that is too unsure and that made him look like a stalker, (typicalfangirlworshipMLbehaviorwheretheFLisalwaysatfault) but I find her behavior all right for someone that doesn't want to be in a relationship because she has other priorities in her life ( like her career) for a guy that most of the times she feels like he's joking and not being serious with her, which was the trait that I dislike the most about him. Most of the time he did stuff to annoyed her, she never felt that he was being serious. she had more too loose in their relationship than.
As a western, I also thought the whole marrying because of a kiss was unreasonable, lol, it seems that traditional families in Thailand are like that, and are not as carefree as they seem to be.
