Very late to the party...but I've finally watched it . To be honest i don't really like this kind of genre. I always feel lost with all their cultivation, weird techiques and...i had the same problem here at the beginning. Like I kind of understood but felt completly lost at the same time. However, in one episode I suddenly got hooked. And oh gott. I'm so happy i never dropped it (even if I had more than one try and it took me full 20 eps to fully immerse into story). I have no clue how to move on. This drama was exactly what i needed. Beautiful cinematography. Amazing acting. And that friendship *chefs kiss* I know in the novel they are together but I'm do happy it didn't happen here. I'm not very romance driven person so seeing 2 soulmates. Who are not together. Who value their friendship the most. It was just perfect. I don't think I'll watch any other drama in quite some time. It broke me but also healed me at the same time. Now imma go back to ugly sobbing in a corner.
