It’s reproduction for gods sake, Asian western, animal kingdom, insect kingdom, plant kingdom everyone does that. And humans are the only species who have sex not just for reproduction but also for pleasure. They are not ignorant. It is a basic human emotion. There is nothing to be ashamed of, yes before you say cheating is wrong and manipulation is wrong that’s what the whole story tries to prove, the ML tries to do that and finally loses his life, in almost all adaptations. That’s what they are trying to say. That’s what it’s about, so calling people ignorant is just making you seem narrow minded.

He had been in love with son ae Jin for a long long time now he is starting to like nana but unable to break free of the decades of love. He finally realises that he would never be able to love nana like he did son ae Jin, and son ae Jin would never love him back. And thus felt lost and took his own life. My interpretation, could argue with it though

The story plot line yes very very mediocre, but the acting wow

Some might say it’s SE but it’s how you interpret it, I was fully satisfied with how the characters ended up as, it’s what should have happened.

He does die, but unlike cruel intentions I don’t think he ever loved nana character as much as FL. They didn’t explain it properly if he ever fell in love for real though. My interpretation, he liked her but decades of loving son ae Jin never allowed him to go to nana fully, and he realised son ae Jin would never love him, so he killed himself. But it can be interpreted differently though.
