For a plot like this, what do you consider a happy ending? Because a main character kills himself but it’s not…
He does die, but unlike cruel intentions I don’t think he ever loved nana character as much as FL. They didn’t explain it properly if he ever fell in love for real though. My interpretation, he liked her but decades of loving son ae Jin never allowed him to go to nana fully, and he realised son ae Jin would never love him, so he killed himself. But it can be interpreted differently though.
Who knows the name of the actress that plays Nana's mother in law? She has great presence!
That smirk, when son ae Jin was expressing her sadness over her daughter in laws death, the mother in law actually smirks and tries to hide it. That scene was chefs kiss
The cinematology was really pleasing to the eyes, as well as their acting. But it's expected from these three,…
It’s elaborate spoiler: He does die, but unlike cruel intentions I don’t think he ever loved nana character as much as FL. They didn’t explain it properly if he ever fell in love for real though. It had a lot of toxic chemistry, the only true chemistry was between JCW and nana and he couldn’t also fully give himself to that relationship because he couldn’t come out of decades of loving son ae Jin. I think they never wanted it to be sad like heart breaking. It was meant to be sad like if something doesn’t start right or starts as a scandal it’s supposed to be messy without satisfaction. As the Title says.
It’s not for general audience. But acting was soo great. It’s scandalous, don’t watch with family, i wouldn’t say if the ending was happy or sad coz i dont know but it was fitting. Give it a try if you want to experiment, the acting and micro expressions though, chefs kiss
I still can't tell if this is worth the watch by the comments.. guess I gotta let the comments cook a little longer.…
It’s not for general audience and it’s not a direct or easy watch. Majority of the people are going to trash it. But personally it stays true to its core story and the acting is chefs kiss. Now it’s up to you to experimenter or not.
There total 8 ep more then 1;20 hr and people already completed & give review like are you serious MDL need…
Actually expect the last 2 episode one being 1 hour and another being 80 minutes the others were just 40-50 min. But yeah true it’s hard to have completed in the said time .
So, did he die in the end like the og and cruel intentions? Appreciate spoilers.

It does what if is expected to do. It’s scandalous. So far I have never given any particular attention to the FL or ML coz their acting never felt raw. But here it was very very raw. It was the micro expressions that made their acting amazing. For normal audience it might seem as bland acting but they did an amazing job. For instance How son ae Jin - speaks so respectfully in a soft manner but her irritation and anger can be seen in her jaws The mother in law of nana, the smirk she gives for a second before hiding it with tears. When son ae Jin is paying respects. Ji chan wook, when he was really confused about his love but forced himself to fall back into the same loop just because without that it wouldn’t be him
The plot it’s scandalous, it’s scandal people that’s the whole title what else did you expect, people blushing and holding hands. They tried to be raw with it. And had a fitting end. It is a great watch but not everyone’s cup of tea.
Since you like to talk in facts: 1. Park hae young is a drama writer : her dramas are - we are all trying here…
You have all the rights to not like a drama or how a character is protrayed in it . But generalising it on the basis of gender shows your ignorance. Please take this as a constructive criticism and Broaden you perspectives.
