still don't understand where this average rating of 8.8 comes from. it's such an empty shell compared to season 1, which was so much more emotionally charged, dark and raw. it leans too much into the mindless action and forgets that's not what made season 1 so great, it was the characters, how complex and emotionally fucked they were.
kim goeun and wi jahoon have so much chemistry!! beats me why they haven't been paired in a romance drama after this, casting directors are missing out big time
8.0 is too low of a rating for this drama. it's such a heartwarming and fun romcom, it delivers exactly what it promises!! the ratings on this site are becoming less and less reliable.
on ep4 and so far im positively surprised. the pacing is tight and the cinematography is gorgeous, really love how vibrant and saturated the colors are and the ratio changes are a nice touch. i'm loving the interactions between the housemates. bookhee in particular is my favorite character, i've been really fond of that atress since extraodinary attorney woo. also appreciate the mentions of misogyny in the workplace and hope they delve into it a bit more as the show progresses.
i'm on ep7 and thinking of dropping it. too much screen time is alocated to the other elders in the village, and they're all just so ridiculous and spineless. the composer guy is unbearable. the tonalshifts didn't bother me in the first 4 episodes, but that balance seems to have been lost.

i don’t understand how anyone could have such negative reactions to po’s decision of breaking up. he is a selfless person, it has been shown countless times how much he prioritizes other’s well being over his own, besides it was clear from ep 10 that he was starting to doubt his place and impact in thame’s career. pemika cornering him and essentially putting all the blame on his shoulders from peppergam’s breakup to mars’ contract not going through was what made him certain of his decision. he was the one who helped reunite mars, he learned each of their dreams and hopes, of course he wasn’t going to be the one to hold them back from them. letting go of thame is far from a coward act, if anything it shows his emotional strength and maturity.

this series is so well crafted... it's not just about love between two broken people, it's a journey of healing, it's about friendship and its complexities, it's about the the idol world and its hardships and unfairness. it highlights the toxicity of celebrities' reality, how they can be so easily discarded and toyed with... thame being the perfect example of that, everyone keeps making choices in his place, pemika, his members, even po...
the ammount of love and care that went into creating this story, these characters, their relationships has me in awe. even pemika, who i hate with my whole heart, is so well written! the way she always has an answer to everything, how she twists the truth in her favour and guilttrips others into doing what she wants is so frustrating but so brilliantly portrayed, and believable. i might be biased bc i love a good slow burn but to me thamepo's relationship is one of the most beautiful i've seen on television. from them not understanding each other's motives to their walls slowly crashing down as they get to know each other... their looks of adoration, their small gestures that show how much they care ahhhh their love is so pure and genuine!!! and that's why their breakup truly HURT. po letting go of thame even though it means abdicating his own happiness shows how he prioritizes everyone else's wellness over his own. and the way thame pleads with him for one more chance, asking him to believe in him, in them, one last time, shows his unwavering determination for fighting for his loved ones. yet po still chose to leave because in his head, it was for the best... god... it broke my heart :((
i have seen some people complain about this but i i'm happy they dedicated an episode to each of mars' members, letting each of their stories and struggles breathe, and didn't just keep them as flat background characters. everyone did such a good job at bringing their characters to life, but i really gotta give props to william and est. this is william's first official acting project and est's first lead role yet they're absolutely killing it!! i couldn't be more proud of them!!!! and ep11 just solidified it for me, they portrayed the character's emotions so so well!
i love this series with my whole heart and i will miss it so much once it ends :(( can we have 10 more eps please.
it's sort of been hinted/confirmed that william will be in this series, so my only wish is that the producers give romemhok a fair ammount of screen time, enough to develop their relationship without rushing and don't keep crucial moments off screen. i really really hope they take advantage of their excellent acting skills and chemistry so that williamest can get more attention and appreciation!! please!!!!
