A little disappointed with the drama overall. I fell in love with PBG in this. I wish they had explored every character more. So much lost potential with everything they tried to throw at us. I wish they had delved deeper into each issue.
Much preferred Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms over this. I was super confused with the timeline between this and TMOPB and probably spent the first couple of episodes trying to piece the two together but realized it's completely different.
The drama dragged in the beginning and it wasn't until halfway through that it actually caught my attention. I needed this after watching TMOPB though! I'm STILL sad that some of the original actors weren't in this (A-Li and Zhe Yan). Zhe Yan in TMOPB was 100x better expressing the character. A good watch if you're left feeling empty from TMOPB.

I needed more family scenes of A-li, Ye Hua, and Bai Qian. I wish the ending had more of that. Another 30 mins of content would have been perfect showing the family and wedding and everything. I feel empty now that it's over.
It's been years since I've watched a fantasy Chinese drama and this is the one that's always recommended whenever I ask which one I should watch. WOW!! The beginning started off a little slow and I didn't really fully get into it until Ye Hua appeared and the two met. How did 58 episodes go by so fast??? I would definitely recommend this drama even though the CGI is pretty poorly done, hahaha.
I haven't seen many Chinese dramas in recent years and I watched this without knowing what it was about and without seeing how highly rated this is. I was surprised to see how highly rated this is. Although I enjoyed it - it was simple but I felt like there was so much potential with the two leads and was hoping for more out of the female lead.
Omg. This is the worst :( I didn't think it would turn out like this, wtf. Her husband is actually the worst person. I have never hated someone so much in such a short amount of time..
On the other hand, Chansung's acting is actually not bad.. LOL.
