nope, as far as I'm aware, it'll be at 10 pm KST? so yea, technically it will come out on netflix after the SBS broadcast because the runtime is only an hour long. (10:30-11 pm KST or later but not THAT long, i suppose)
I love that author so i'm super pumped for this now!
the webtoon was planned after the drama was announced and it actually started releasing weekly on naver since november 6, webtoon only licensed it recently!
it's only a prequel adaptation series about our main leads' highschool backstory, which will also be covered in the drama but i think the webtoon will contain more details and little events that we will not see in the drama itself.
Oh I know our SFL will like ML from the summary n the videos but SML will like our FL also?
yup, surely. you can watch the preview of ep 1 for that (it's subbed on SBS now's YT)!! it's implied that he has some kind of feelings towards yeonsoo (dami) but we'll see.
why the spoiler tag though? we're not trying to reveal anything huge here lol
i can't wait to see how the premiere would do!! also, just a heads-up to everyone, if you haven't seen the teasers, there would be some 'angsty' love rivalries here. while it may not be tasteful to every single audience, i still think it's alright to stay and witness how the drama handles it. sungchul and jeongeui are great and lovely actors too, i won't be surprised if people even get SLS because of them 😂

hmm the author is actually just an illustrator so the story and script is still written by the drama's writer :) the whole webtoon is actually just a prequel! it's likely that we'll get more highschool woong and yeonsoo content from the webtoon as well.
Everybody, please do me a favor and watch the Japanese live action version from 2003 (Josee to Tora to Sakana…
I have yet to watch this and the first japanese version but I've seen the anime! I don't know what EXACTLY happened according to the original novel (which the live actions apparently faithfully followed) but from the summaries I've read, everything was somehow completely altered in the anime. From the storyline, characterizations, events and to the ending.
The poster is… pretty boring. But then again so is the name. I hope it’s a light and good watch. The cast…
the title was originally, "that year we" or "us that year". the current title is alright and quite plain, i agree, but those actually sounds better imo.
it does appear that there would be a love triangle (maybe even a love quadrangle... not sure and very much not hoping for any ridiculous love rivalry). so we can probably only wish that it will be executed well which would also not hinder the story from being promising and pleasant.
dami's character in itaewon class was literally a sociopath what did you expect? plus, dami herself has said in…
edit: my reply sounded like i was justifying her actions, sorry i can't seem to express myself clearly! here's my actual thoughts
yes, it doesn't justify her actions. but i basically asked why the user above about what would they expect from the writing of an obvious sociopath. she had a lot of red flags even during her first appearances so it should be natural to expect that she wouldn't be an actual well-written strong female character. so yup! i strongly agree that she was manipulative as hell and the show tried to glorify her behaviour, made it appear that she was just this 'badass' and extremely quirky highschooler.
I'm here for the fluff but if they make the FL the abusing FL just like in Itaewon Class and IOTNBO, I'm gonna…
dami's character in itaewon class was literally a sociopath what did you expect? plus, dami herself has said in the interview with wooshik that she specifically chose to play this role because it's different from the 'strong and badass' characters from her previous projects. so yeah, rest assured bcs the fl here is very much your simple and archetypal poor but driven and kinda like a tsundere protagonist. you should probably bother reading their character descriptions if you still have worries. =)

The anime was predictable, flawed, and subpar but quite pleasant at best. Not to mention the super clichéd tsundere and love triangle moments. It's like your typical romance film except the female lead has a disability. The only commendable thing about it is the beautiful soundtrack and themes plus the great animation. I'll let you decide, though. Since it can still be a nice and refreshing experience for you. :)
