Nah they are undead but it doesnt look like she can control them well or at all. It seems they wasnt even dead because at the end of the episode they return to normal?

I’m really close to dropping this series. First they nerf WWX in favour of Xue Yang, now they have the audacity…
Even though i hate this change they still kept that hes the inventor of gadgets and even though i hate that change i wont mind as long as they make him even OP in regards to controlling zombies.. I wouldnt have minded as much if there was no flute involved.

I mean the anime had hints and this show has similar if not more that is good enough for china.
