Ok so if you watched season 1 at the end the Mo Lian cheng went to the present world along with Qu Xiao Tan but she did not remember him. Then some baddies basically teleported both of them back to the fantasy world where this is another Mo Lian Cheng.

im a bit sad i want this to be the case in the Korean drama.
