people like you lack absolute empathy or emotional intelligence and it’s just better that you drop this drama and go watch your bloodshed dramas. No matter how much someone tries to convey the actual meaning of the action of the characters, people like you won’t accept their fault and will only have one comeback that you can’t read all of this. we know you can’t even if you try to. you’re dumb as hell.

I loved him so much in S1…he was my fav character, maybe it’s because he got a lead role in a new drama that’s airing rn

My heart absolutely broke in this ep 9. As viewers, it’s pretty common because we get attached to the characters that are more charming, funny, chaotic than the ones drowning in depression but it angers me when people say they prefer Bongsu over Gyeon U like what??? Just because he’s not jumping around 24x7??? My man was TRAUMATISED all throughout his childhood, abandoned by family, lost his passion, his friends, his grandma just because of someone else. I know Bongsu’s backstory is gonna break our hearts but Gyeon U doesn’t owe him anything, not his body nor his love. Whatever traumatic things Bongsu went through in his past life, Gyeon U is going through it right now. Bongsu is long dead, but Gyeon U deserves to live, he deserves to smile and Bongsu deserves peace and not hell. End of rant.

I’m begging Ok Taecyeon to shift from rom-coms and choose better projects next time🙏 I can’t keep watching mediocre dramas just because he’s in them🤦🏻‍♀️

1. I think it’s because Yeomhwa is able to become closer to the ghost which means the power of the evil spirit is increasing even if he doesn’t want it plus Gyeon U is becoming less of a human because only ghosts and shamans can see other ghosts and shamans. His spirit is anyways weak.
2. I think Bongsu helped them because he has a soft corner for both of them. He wants to find the name he’s looking for and maybe get peace and doesn’t really want to be the deity for Yeomhwa

if you’ve seen Highschool dramas then you know that the dating era doesn’t last long, the main fun is in the tension and chemistry before they start dating, and I personally like that a lot. Also, they’re dealing with a very powerful, if not evil spirit and an equally pathetic shaman so they can’t wrap up everything by ep 8-9, then what are they gonna show for next 3 eps? I don’t think Bongsu is gonna go anywhere until ep 11 and we’ve already gotten their confession….so I don’t they’re gonna stretch the dating era too much

Ummm….I don’t really understand why everyone is saying Ep 7 was anticlimactic?Everyone has their own opinions I guess but let’s try to understand the message & genre of this drama better. There are several dramas with dark evil shit like Revenant, Exhuma, The Guest, etc. but this drama is firstly a Highschool fantasy rom-com plus it consistently focuses on the situation that turns a ghost into an evil spirit. The Haunted Palace also had a similar theme - ‘evil spirits aren’t born but made’. Also, as grandma said - ‘Misfortune doesn’t kill a person but the harsh treatment from people does’. And let’s be real, the true evil in this drama isn’t Bongsu, but rather Gyeon U’s family that was ready to abandon a child because of his misfortune and Park Seong A’s parents that treated her like a money-making machine and then abandoned her.

You can chill too….don’t need to hate under every comment just because 1 ep didn’t go the way you wanted it to

flashback age might’ve been 13-14 but it didn’t show that he died at that age. he might’ve died at 18-19. also he must be over 100 years old by now

dude no offence but why are you so bitter? you’ve been hating under most comments. if you want dark evil spirit then there are plenty of dramas like Revenant, Exhuma, The Guest, etc. I personally didn’t expect this turn but it’s more in sync with this drama. Please go and check the genre, it’s Highschool, rom-com, fantasy, The Haunted Palace was also similar. And yes it’s typical Kdrama stuff because sometimes we do need dramas that maintain the right balance between romance, comedy and fantasy.

girl, realistically speaking, your guy best friend getting a few punches or kicks vs your first love being possessed by an evil spirit, there’s no comparison. I feel sad for Jiho too but I think it’s wrong to blame Seong A because she told him to stay away from Gyeon U because she cares about Jiho and doesn’t want more burden
