It's interesting how drama makes a seasoned general like Li Kuang fail to understand basic war strategies and go into war thinking that their mission will fail? How did he get to be one of the 8 right hand people? Another thing - what's with this flute playing on the city wall? That is beyond.

This drama took time to build a back story to help the audience understand why each character behaved the way they do. It's a good start.

You have a good point about the unlikeable characters. I've not been able to connect with NJF on any of his dramas. Started this because it was a mystery and so far, I'm up to EP 8. I'll try to keep going for an episode or two and see if it hooks me
