It's all tragic - one loves a man who has pledged to defend an emperor who has a death wish. Another has the misfortune to be tortured because she has the face of her sister. The brother loves someone who eventually goes blind. Oh my goodness ... how can we possibly have a happy ending. I am thinking the marriage scene, the hugging scenes between the two leads are just dreams. At the back of my mind, I hope for a happy ending but don't see it happening.

I agree with you. William Chan has subtle eye/eyebrow, facial movements which other actors are not able to do. Personally, i'm looking forward to Wednesday and the days following for more episodes.
