Just thought of something - this could have a Princess Wei Young kind of ending where the ML get to live 5 years with the FL and their son. The Princess goes on after ML's death to raise the heir to the throne. Maybe it's possible?

The ending to RFY is a convenient quickly put together affair. There's even a fake horse (I guess the producers did not have the budget for a real horse. Don't get me started on the FL - she acts the same way in Legend of Yunxi and The Blooms of Ruyi Pavilion.

Can anyone confirm this - I saw a trailer that had Haishi trying to stab herself in the neck. Is this accurate? Please shed some light on this.

It's all a strategy to make us crave to see sweet moments between the 2 main leads - it's like The Long Ballad where Le Yan (Rosy Zhao) disappeared from the scene till ep 26 - she was gone for almost 16 episodes (there were minor glimpses of her) The whole buildup made us want her to be with Hao Du (Liu Yu Ning). That way, we keep watching

My goodness. How can she live the rest of her life happily? Apparently, his love is selfish and does not consider her pain. Ughh🤬
