I don’t think the mcc was pretending to be asleep or to not like it, rather he was used to his body being part of his duty (as you saw him getting regularly used by the real son). So to him being quiet and accepting of it is part of his “job”, he feels useful and obligated to do so.
However, yeah he’s softer because of how tender and undemanding the ml treated him, he wasn’t using power on him, he treated him like a person and that gave him some type of comfort while doing it.
