Title The Worst of Evil Spoiler
OMG I'm soooo glad someone mentioned it! I almost started crying in that scene. Damn that acting, how speechless…
(I would request you to please use the spoiler tag on your comment. Otherwise there will be a riot here lol)

Those men were send by a rival gang's men for revenge whose boss Song Dong hyuk was killed by Japanese on Gichul's request. The rat in the Gichul's gang who informed them of his and Junmo's location that night was another junior member called Oh Kyung Jin (played by Choi Baek Sun).

It is weird that Joon Mo did not check on the injury or call for an ambulance but surely he thought the guy was…
The man who fell off the building is not actually a cop. (Maybe he was in the past we haven't been told that)
That man is a private detective who also has connections with corrupted cops who sell him information. This was made pretty clear in Episode 2

yeah the fact that she is a singer ....she is multi talented and should do this more often she knows how to create…
Even her acting in her music videos is GOLD.

No shade to anyone but I can't wrap my head around the hyprocrisy of some people on tiktok and this comment section as well. I mean these were the same people who were throwing a premature tantrum when Euijing volunteered to help in the investigation by posting shitty comments of how she is CHEATING on Junmo. (Although the show did her character dirty by showing a defintely-not needed first love story with Gichul.)

Now these same people are gushing over BIBI and JCW's chemistry. No problem with that but why are some of you rooting for them. Wouldn't that also be cheating since Junmo is also MARRIED?

PS: If you think I'm BIBI's hater, let me tell you I've watched her first film as a lead actress Hopeless First Day, First Show today. She is so so incredible there and I'm genuinely looking forward to her acting in the future.

Great acting by Im Sung-Jae (Choi Jung Bae).
"I'm not the one hanging around with cops. It's you!"
"One day, you'll realize you were blinded. I guarantee it."

That fight in the elevator was brutal though. Not for the squeamish
On The Worst of Evil Oct 11, 2023
Bibi is so good in this.

Unpopular Opinion: I don't like her character very much though. Actually, I don't like anyone who tries to exploit my poor Junmo.
On The Worst of Evil Oct 11, 2023
Junmo has gone too deep into this operation that it seems impossible that he can come back now whereas everything around Gichul is falling apart slowly.

This is the price that both these men are paying for their ambitions. Both of them are actually more similar to each other than different. Their hunger for power and prestige, their insecurities, their childhood struggles, even their taste in women lmao.

Yet their choices in life have put them on two completely divergent paths.

I want to say this since we have already reached half way and now have only 5 episodes till the show ends.
Man you got to trust any script that Wi Ha Joon chooses with your eyes closed. NONE of his projects disappoint.

I think they're both excellent in this. It seems it's only those favoring one actor who feel the need to make…
Oh my bad.
Apologies if I gave @Nauriya the impression that I'm justifying the deeds of JKC.
Nowhere I've stated that JKC is right in killing people or his criminal actions can be justified.
What I was trying to say in the comment above is that although I don't like how the writers have written JKC's character because so far he comes across as quite inconsistent. But what I've seen so far is that people have very extreme opinions on this character.

Like some immature people on Tiktok or Youtube want him to end up with Euijing get a Happy Ending which is complete BS. Some other immature people who are fans of Ji Chang Wook are spreading hate for Wi Ha Joon in the name his his character. What I'm saying is that we should give some more time to this character beacause I don't know what to feel for him exactly.

Now I also don't like Jung Ki Chul at ALL and want to slap him everytime I even hear Euijing's name out of his mouth. But I do see there is a lot of potential in this character. We have zero idea of what's gonna happen to him and that makes him interesting.

If you notice JKC's character carefully, you will see that he is a man full of contradictions. He is smart yet stupid when it comes to his emotions. He never hesitates for a second while killing others but you could see the fear in his eyes whenever he was attacked and his hands were literally shaking when he was loading his gun in episode 5.
You could also see that he was really worried for Junmo when he was in hospital although indirectly JKC was responsible for what happened to him but still you could see the guilt, anger and worry on his face.

So JKC is not a cookie cutter antagonist in this sense. Sure he has a tragic family history and an obligatory first love who came back into his life but I don't give a shit about these things. What I really give a damn about is how he will end up as a character. And that is why I'm looking forward to see his journey in the next episodes and have a more balanced opinion on him.

god I just don't understand why everyone is thinking that she will cheat on joonmo! like literally no sign of…
I think these people are writing their own script for the show lol.

Is the other mobster(the one is glasses) also an undercover cop? i feel like him saying he's also not from gangnam…
Nope l don't think so. That dude cannot be an undercover cop although I do think that he has ulterior motives and is probably working with some stronger gang. Maybe he is a rat working for Japanese or Chinese. Or he wants to be the big boss.

After reading some comments below about Euijing and Junmo's flashback scenes in the trailer. I went back to rewatch…
You are absolutely correct. It can be an imagination or flashback for all we know. But I just wanted to share this because people were talking about that scene in comments below.

This is also true. Lol I've not felt so conflicted about a fictional character since Little Women and co-incidentally it was Wi Ha Joon's character only.

I think everyone is making assumptions about JKC because of the fact that we are seeing the story from Junmo's side. Maybe in the upcoming episodes when we see more of JKC and was goes on in that mind of his, people will have a more balanced opinion on him.

I notice a lot of praise for Jcw (I mean, this mf deserves it, lol) and Whj, but let's not overlook Im Se Mi,…
I pity Junmo, I hate JKC but I LOVE Euijing. I mean you gotta love a woman who is ready to risk it all for her man.

Im Se Mi is an amazing actor no doubt in that. If you see her filmography, you will realise that she is also a very versatile actor. My only complaint though is that she has very little screentime in this one.

I mean, WHJ is unable over power JCW in this one, I really like WHJ as an actor, and his deserving popularity…
I think the writers did WHJ's character dirty.

At one minute, he is quite smart, a formidable adversary to the male lead and the other minute, he acts like a fool for his first love. I mean why the hell would a drug dealer, a boss at that would even think about marrying a cop?
But then again if he was really smart he wouldn't have become involved in this business.
I really liked what a character said in episode 4 to Junmo. He said that "I've been racking my brains for a long time to wear this gold watch on my wrist instead of handcuffs."
This also describes the character of Jung Ki Chul in a nutshell.
