So dohee never went to hanseol uni. He faked his architecture degree, and the bully knew about it. The reason…
And 2 years probation meaning he won't go to prison for 6 months if he doesn't commit another crime in the next two years. This is all bc of the parent's petition hyunho made and dohoe donating all his savings plus coming clean abt everything to help an abused child.
Well, if you need to write or read an essay to make a story understandable for all, that's proof that there is…
Well you clearly didn't read what i wrote because I clearly said everyone interprets things differently according to their own personalities and I won't respond anymore to you bc you're just putting words into my mouth and clearly just don't want to discuss things without throwing shady comments. Enjoy or don't enjoy the drama it's not my business. Don't respond anymore to me please I don't have the energy to argue with people who ignore the things I say and instead accuse me of smth else. Adios

I don't agree bc not everyone sees or understands things the same way the person who wrote this thread, me and a lot of other people were already seeing the show and characters the same way. If you scroll down a bit you can see that I and others already had similar views and theories before this thread was written. The editing of the show definitely changed from ep3 but I don't think the writing is the problem. From the very beginning I saw all three main characters as complex well written characters perhaps for other viewers they needed more scenes to understand them or bc not all people view & consume media the same way they understood & interpreted the show differently this is normal. All of us put our own views and experiences while interpreting smth. And there are also some people who are just used to consuming shows without media competence this showed when people were already painting the characters as good & bad which is clearly not the show's intention. Every show that deals with complex characters & issues isn't understood by everyone bc not everyone thinks or feels the same way. An example of another show that aired just before lfct is love in the big city yeongsu's character wasn't understood and many people thought he used young for his research while it was obvious for lots of other people including me bc I'm queer that he had internalised homophobia and was a coward bc of that but not everybody got that bc not everyone who watched the show was queer or went through internalised homophobia or even payed close attention to every scene some people weren't as invested and that's fine hence why such explanation threads are good.
I don't get why at the end of episode 6 they show that Hyeonho's law firm address is saved in the car's GPS that…
The teaser show a pic of them they probably talked abt dohoi and what happened to him in those 12 years and thats why juyeong decided to pursue dohoe one last time.
he never fell out of love, he was distant because of his guilt and avoident issues, thats why in ep 5 when juyeong…
I don't think so because dohoe's that kind of character he was left by everybody in his life his mom, his abusive dad, his friend who started bullying him and thus he started being avoidant that's his coping mechanism he doesn't let people get too close to him and bc of the guilt he feels towards juyeong for choosing his exam over confronting his dad & calling the police he feels like trash that's why he told juyeong that he should hate him and call him despicable. I don't think any of us understand how much self-hatred dohoi harbors for himself he already hated himself before juyeong came and let the bullies hit him bc of having a dad like that. Him avoiding juyeong must have been like a punishment for himself too. A lot of time other feelings like guilt, self-hatred, insecurity, & anger overpower love.
Hmm I don't have Twitter and I can't open it... Is it possible to get the direct link?
I don't know what you mean by that I guess you'd have to create an account bc even with writing the users name on google the post won't show up to you if you're not already signed in into twitter
Definitely one of the best kdramas this year really liked it. Kang Bitna was such a badass female lead and although…
Daon annoyed me in the beginning bc I was more focused on kang bitna's plan but when I knew of his backstory & got to know more of his character I understood him. Really like how his character changed too for Kang Bitna
Definitely one of the best kdramas this year really liked it. Kang Bitna was such a badass female lead and although she changed her views she didn't become "weak" nor did she lose her personality she just got more badass with a protective side actually really enjoyed the relationship between her and Daon. It was really refreshing & new dynamic.
so you're telling me that DH and HH have just been friends for ten years and somehow their relationship never…
They obviously had smth in the past but considered it a mistake remember what dohoi said to hyunho the scene he tried to kiss him in. "You said we shouldn't make another mistake" its most likely hyunho still had internalised homophobia just like in school and obvs dohoi didn't like him romantically.
Some spoilers ahead! I just wanted to say that if you're assuming there's a villain or a bad guy in the relationship then I don't think you'll like the show. Even hyunho as a second male lead with his unrequited love who appears to be annoying coming in between them is a complex character he also had a complicated & troubled life and internalized homophobia (ofc that doesn't excuse him being a past bully but its very much clear that he liked dohoi & did it out of internalized homophobia & seems to have redeemed himself as dohoi kept him close by & he seems to keep dohoi's secret). Juyeong who to us seems like the good guy also has his own issues he's struggling with like his religious guilt represented by the cross necklace, his abandonment issues and him trying to buy the gym wether it's to keep the promise he made to dohoi's dad or it's bc he can't let go of the past. And ofc dohoi who is pushing away two people who care about him self-sabotaging his relationships out of obvious self-hatred & hiding lots of things. In turn living as a shell of himself & doing many things he used to hate just to erase his whole past (like indulging in materialistic goods, drinking alcohol & coffee and he seems to take a lot of pills). What they all have in common is their inability to communicate openly and truly. Juyeong has tried to communicate with dohoi but he also isn't communicating what he's upset by he'd rather talk abt the past than his insecurities in the present the opposite for dohoi. The only villain in this show is dohoi's dad and maybe gwangmo's parents too we'll see how they'll turn out. In conclusion all three main characters aren't one dimensional and all of them are hiding their true feelings, worries & insecurities they're just expressing themselves in different ways. And in all honesty if one adult actually had done their job properly in these 3 kids lifes they wouldn't have turned out this way dohoe had an abusive dad, juyeong neglectful religious parents and hyunho a homophobic abusive(?) dad.
I don't think dohoi cares either i think he's just pretending putting on an act that he's been doing fine but he actually isnt at all we don't even know if he really went to uni or graduated or even had this glamorous life for all of those 12 years. He's just erasing his past with a new world. Instead of the wallet he bought jy 12 years ago he bought him a new one instead of the cafe they went to ages ago he wants to go to other places and instead of the taekwondo van he wants to drive around in a car bc all of those things remind him of the past. He told juyeong that it's even difficult for him to think about things and we see him taking pills everyday from a drawer full of medicine and also drinking even drinking coffee all things he didn't do in the past he used to never drink coffee so its like he's using all of that as coping mechanisms.
I was waiting for someone to bring this up but I see that no one has, so I am going to mention it here. The very…
Yeah I think juyeong found smth out bc although he always was the one pursuing dohoi their last argument showed that he also felt unsure if this relationship was really good for them both bc they weren't really communicating openly his taekwondo girl friend told him to not regret it this time so he maybe just took the risk and asked hyunho abt dohoi. Dohoi's timeline has a gap from 2007 to 2012 for 5 years we don't know what he was doing. In 2007 he failed the college entrance exam and only in 2012 he retook it so there must have been something going on with him during time and only hyunho knows what it is bc he's always saying he knows dohoi better.
can someone please explain to me about the necklace think that i couldn't get it
Juyeong wears a cross necklace (his mom's a pastor) and whenever he's with dohoi he takes it off because of religious guilt. In his religion he's a sinner bc of his relationship with dohoi he always takes it off when he's starting to get more comfortable with his sexuality bc of being with dohoi(remember before he confessed to dohoi in ep2 he took the necklace off too then confessed against the wall as if he was confessing a sin in church). But in those 12 years he kept wearing the necklace. Dohoi most likely misunderstood juyeong's intention and thought of it as juyeong being disgusted with their relationship bc when he's not with dohoi he's wearing the necklace and he's noticed that he took it off after they got into a relationship.
Couldn't agree more. Currently I'm refusing to watch the latest 2 eps just because of the weird timeskip, the…
The time skip is the whole plot it's in the synopsis and trailer. Also juyeong explained why he took care of dohoi's dad he said its to keep a link to dohoi.
Why do you think he's red flag? Like he obviously is very frustrating but I don't think he's one at all
Lets agree to disagree for me a red flag is sb who intentionally harms sb else in any way or has toxic characteristics & doesn't want to change them/denies them. Yes a gray character isn't good or bad and so is dohoi bc his trauma reflects the way he acts and how a lot of times he makes bad decisions he doesn't fit in the category good bc he made decisions that hurt jy but he also isn't bad bc his decisions came from a place of fear, guilt & not knowing how to handle his own worries.
You explained this really well and this is the reason why i liked those two eps more than the last one's we're…
Absolutely agree also juyeong is an angel but he also has issues he needs to deal with he definitely has religious guilt represented by the cross necklace he only takes off when he's with dohoi probably bc his mom is a pastor and he seems to have abandonment issues he's always the one who apologises and runs after dohoi
You explained this really well and this is the reason why i liked those two eps more than the last one's we're…
Exactly and I feel like just like you said there's more to the 12 years there's actually a 5 year gap in dohoe's timeline he failed the entrance exam in 2007 and only got it in 2012( then his graduation project from uni was in 2015). So between 2007 and 2012 we don't know what he was doing. Did he retake the exam every year and fail it bc of anxiety or panic(bc he's very smart so that wouldn't be the reason)? Or was he in a situation he couldn't escape we see lots of medicine in his drawer was he maybe struggling with mental health issues sb on twitter suggested he was in a mental hospital in those 5 years. But we don't really know what happened I feel like the conflict in ep6 was needed for them to start being honest with each other and really get to know each other bc they aren't teens anymore and they've both changed they need to talk openly.
